Good shoulder/ armpit length. Easy to take on and off, sturdy, good heavy weight, does not feel cheap. Has not tarnished for me after many wears.

The strap on my new Michael Kors purse was way too short— seriously, the zipper was touching my armpit. But I adored everything else about the purse so I wanted to fix the chain instead of just returning it. This one is just about identical to the original MK chain! There’s no way to tell the difference between them and there’s seriously no way to know it’s not the original chain unless you have the original right next to it to compare. The quality is great! It’s heavy, looks nice and shiny, and doesn’t kink up (lays completely flat now after being straightened out and attached). It feels the same as the chains on my Michael Kors and Kate Spade purses.I used some pliers (thanks dad) to open the clasps and replace the chain. And voila! I took off the little clips from the new chain so I can’t speak to their longevity, but from holding them, they felt solid and looked really nice as well.I can’t wait to start using this purse now that it’s actually practical to wear. Love love love! I took away one star bc "THEY LITERALLY THROW IT IN THE BAG!!"But very nice and thick, it was a lil bit twisted some parts but it wasn't hard to untangle, I wish it was longer personally for me, but very nice for that price, I couldn't get rid of my LOUD GREEN AND RED GUCCI STRAP THAT I CAN'T REMOVE, SO NOW I CAN TUCK IT INSIDE MY BAG AND WEAR THE CHAIN STRAP, I'M EXCITED TO USE IT, IT MAKES MY BAG LOOK SO MUCH MORE! Lasted a year before tarnishing even a little bit. Very thick and durable and I got it for $13 I was absolutely blown away at the weight of the chain for the price I got it for. Versatile and long can be wrapped shorter but very good quality for the cost.
