I used these to replace some faulty thermostats in Myson Kickplate plinth heaters. They are an easy replacement. The only downside is the contact tabs are a little wider than the original ones. But a touch on the grinding wheel sorted then out. I hope they will last 10 years like the old ones did

As described

I have installed these switches on my radiators for central heating. I put a mains operated fans facing the radiators so that when the temperature of the radiators reaches 55 degrees, the switches close to turn on the fans which spreads the heat from the radiators much more efficiently. After set temperature in the rooms is reached, the boiler cuts out. The fans keep spreading the heat until their temperature falls to 35 degrees and the switches cut out (go off, go open circuit), switching off the fans. I used to get other make of this type of switches at a much higher price which did not last long. Remains to be seen how will these last.
