Urine Off Odor and Stain Remover for Cats Sprayer Top 16.9oz

I just moved into an apartment with my husband. Prior to our marriage, he has lived here for 5 months and never smelled the cat urine. After our wedding, as soon as I walked into our apartment for the first time, I smelled the unsightly smell. I sniffed the corner and found the culprit. I am severely allergic to cats and was sick the whole first week. This product saved me! It took a while because the stain was quite old, but I sprayed, covered it with a paper towel, and then cut up a Walmart bag and let it sit over night and it darkened and revealed the stain. After a few days of doing this, it slowly started to lift out. Great product.

One of my cats, had a realy bad urinary tract infection and it was causing him to urinate outside of his litter box. The vet explained to me that this happens because the cat associates the pain while urinating with the litter box. He was trying to let me know he was sick and in doing so, sprayed one of my chairs in the living room, which had just been re-covered. I was at a trade show in NYC and I saw the booth for Urine Off-Stain and Odor Remover and they demonstrated it there. I was amazed at what I saw. Since they could not sell it to me there I ordered it from Amazon. It came quickly and I started to use it. It is EVERYTHING that they say it is. My chair is saved and my cat is feeling better. Urine Off has a pleasant scent and it got rid of the stain and odor. I even used a black light on the chair to confirm that the stain was gone and my nose confirmed that the smell was gone!!! This is a great product!

Maybe I was using it wrong but this stuff had no impact on the cat odor or stain. Maybe the stain was too set in the fabric? Who knows but this product didn't work at all for me.

Vet recommended. Totally not enough to clean a couch, you should buy the 1 gallon bottle too.Sometimes, working with a black light, it seems like I am not making progress, but this product is just for pee, and the blacklight shows much more. My cats are prolific pukers, so I think the stains I keep seeing are puke and not pee.Did not work well on fabric. In my experience the thing to do is to run the thing [in this case the couch slipcover] through a wash cycle using no soap but a cup of vinegar. After the vinegar wash, run a regular cycle with soap. Sometimes it works the first time, sometimes not. But eventually it did get linens that smelled fine to me AND the cats.

What can we say? Our cats are generally well-trained, and we've not had to worry about stains, so we can't speak to its effectiveness in that regard. It worked pretty well, however, when one of our two cats decided that as long as her feet were standing in the litter, she was "good to go". Neutralized the smelly residue on the side of the litter box, the litter-catching tray, and the finished oak floor in the spare bathroom. It didn't seem to damage the floor. We blotted with clean paper towels afterwards, of course. The cats didn't seem put off by the ingredients in the spray, either.

This product completely removed the cat spray from my front door. We have an indoor cat, and the neighborhood has a number of outdoor cats. We have had trouble with the outdoor cats spraying. I have tried other products, but had a hard time finding one that would be better on hard surfaces. It ssems like most are geared to carpeting or interiors. This didn't hard or discolor the house paint, but I noticed that a little of the paint on the kick plate was worn down. That could have been from frequent exposure to cat pee, though, too! So I am not going to hold it against the product. I used it on the area around the cat box--worked great. Also I didn test a spot on the carpet and it seemed fine as well. I would definitely buy this again.

we had an elderly dog who had an accident on our oriental rug. when we contacted our local oriental rug store they recommended this product, and stated they used it on their carpets. the urinoff product we purchased from them did not specifically state for dog or cat, but it worked extremely well (it did take quite a bit to saturate the area). since then we have used the cat product for our feline accidents. we have not noticed any fading or color isses in treated areas, and the cats have not soiled any previously treated areas, so i consider that a success.

I'm not sure why some people do not rate this product higher. I have an incontinent elderly cat that I have to clean up after constantly. It really eliminates the smell...I know I'm going to have to change the carpet down the road, it just keeps things under control, and it keeps the other cats from marking in the urine spots. The smell of the product is very pleasant. I came across it when my vet recommended it. I've used many other products that did not work half as well.
