Great stand for the 13" M4 iPad Pro
(Updated in August of 2024; see below.) Ordered in June of 2024 for the new 13" M4 iPad Pro, and after using it for a week I'm very pleased. Noteworthy observations: • The stand is very solid, and a bit heavier than I expected. When the iPad is attached, their combined weight adds up to 3.75 pounds. Between that and the four silicone feet slightly inset into the base, it's very stable on flat surfaces. • When the iPad is attached, the back of the iPad rests on the two silicone pads at the edges of the stand's magnetic plate. The back of the iPad does not make contact with the aluminum surface of the stand, so I'm not worried about it scraping or scratching. • The magnets hold the iPad with enough strength that I have zero concerns about it coming off accidentally. In fact, I actually have to brace the base of the stand with one hand, prop the bottom of the iPad against my stomach, and lift the top of the iPad with my other hand when I want to detach it from the stand! I appreciate being able to carry it around the house without worrying about the iPad falling off. • The hinge and rotation movement are very smooth. It doesn't take much force to adjust the angle of the iPad, and it stays where I put it. There's no way of knowing how the hinge stability will hold up over time, but I appreciate the fact that they included a couple of Allen wrenches / hex keys which will allow me to tighten the hinges if I ever need to. • There really isn't any logo of any sort printed or laser-engraved anywhere on the stand, and the clean aluminum looks really good. Fortunately, the model I ordered did not have an instructional sticker applied to the magnetic plate, so I didn't run into the problems other people had with stubborn adhesive residue. One thing I do wish were different about the stand is a minor detail regarding the vertical portion connecting the hinge to the base. This stand only has a small square window cut out of the aluminum just under the hinge, and I would prefer if there were a taller, rounded pill-shaped cutout about midway between the hinge and the base. My older Viozon iPad stand (also sold on Amazon if you want to look for pictures) has one of these, and it makes it much easier to carry the stand around one-handed since you can loop your fingers in through the cutout instead of having to reach all the way around the full width of the stand. That minor detail aside, I am a very happy customer. If one of the other more well-known brands had managed to release a version of their magnetic stands for the new M4 iPad Pro sooner, I probably wouldn't have taken a chance on this one. Having seen and used it first-hand, though, I'm really glad I did. A lot of thought and care clearly went into its design and execution, and there's not even a logo or brand name to detract from the experience of using it. UPDATE AUGUST 2024: It turns out to have been a very good thing that they included those Allen wrenches / hex keys, since one of the two screws holding the magnetic plate to the stand spontaneously came loose and fell out. Not sure how or why this happened, but I was able to find and replace both the screw and the tiny metal washer that seems to fit in between it and the aluminum frame. After my DIY repair, I noticed that rotating the magnetic plate required more force than it used to. Slightly loosening the replaced screw allowed the magnetic plate to rotate easily again, so I've settled on a middle tightness in the hopes that this will prevent the screw from coming loose a second time. If the screw that fell out really is simply responsible for determining how much force is required to rotate the magnetic plate, that would explain why it could fall out without in any way compromising the rest of the stand. (I was carrying it when the screw came loose, and the rest of the stand and iPad stayed completely solidly attached, which was a relief.) Having lived with the stand for over a month, I remain a happy customer. I've even managed to figure out how to detach the iPad without resorting to propping it against my stomach! ;-)

just got it today, already love it
I bought this for my new iPad Pro as the foldable cases with stands were NOT doing it for me. too flimsy, not high enough for comfortable viewing, and just unstable. this stand is a bit cheaper compared to the others like it price wise which is partly why I bought it because I didn't want to pay $100+ and the product is really, really nice and feels like real, heavy material and does not feel cheap whatsoever. It rotates 360 as advertised and the magnet works very well. It only slides off if you put it on the wrong way. it comes pre built and everything but they also include equipment to tighten any screws if needed and they include extra stick on magnets that I applied immediately for extra safety. 10/10 recommend, my ipad literally looks like an apple store display now with this pretty and durable stand. If you're hesitating, here's your sign: buy it! EDIT: After using it for a few days I do have some more to add! I wish I could pull the stand forward a bit but the top part of it is fixed, so you can't really pull it out more, you can only tilt it upwards. It's still a great stand though and has great mobility otherwise. The magnets are also great quality, I accidentally left my ipad on the stand last night before I went to sleep and it's been attached all night and all morning! Hasn't fallen off once. When adjusting your ipad while it's on the stand, it's better to hold the ipad AND the back of the stand to move it and not just the ipad. The magnets are strong at holding it up but if you pull on the ipad, it pops off easily. Just be careful with it in case it slips off when you're adjusting angles!

Overall good, but proceed with caution
Two things that bothered me about the product (I.e., what made me take off a star): 1. When I opened it, there was an instructional adhesive sticker on top where the iPad goes. I expected it to easily come off, but it was SUPER stuck on there. I eventually peeled it off, but it was so strong that there was a lot of adhesive left. Thanks to the internet I was able to wipe it off with acetone but it took a while to get clean. Idk why they couldn’t have used an easy peel sticker. 2. The magnet placement is tricky; you have to place your iPad in the EXACT correct place for it to stay on/sturdy. Otherwise it will slide off; proceed with caution when figuring out where to place it. I don’t love how precise you have to place it, a lot of other products don’t make you work this hard and have stronger magnets. All that aside, it’s getting the job done and it’s sturdy when things are in the right place. I love that I can rotate horizontally and vertically. I’d still recommend, but proceed with caution to not damage your iPad!

You need this stand. It has a great design and is made well.
In the few days I've had it, this stand has become my favorite way to view my iPad. It functions as shown in the product description video. The iPad camera is not covered in back. It spins smoothly from landscape to portrait and back with one hand. No fingerprints show up from handling. Rubber pads grip the desk, but it slides smoothly when you need it to. The iPad is firmly attached so pushing the volume buttons doesn't move the iPad. This stand is not too light weight--feels sturdy and well-balanced--it's not going to tip over if you lightly bump it. No gimmicky features is a plus. If anything negative arises, I will come back to let you know.
