Easy to use but takes a lot of strength to remove staples from a stretched canvas!

Perfect for removing staples from wood. It is a handy tool to have. Very sturdy.

I needed it to pull staples from wood. Sometimes the device leaves a mark on the wood so I have to use a thin piece of wood under the foot of the device to minimize the mark. This is why the 4 star. I will be sanding the wood later so this may remove the indentation marks.

Absolutely useless. Tip is too thick to slide under a staple

Great price, but the tip is too thick to get under the staples. (In wood, old ottoman.). It won’t work for this project, but for the price, I’ll keep it to see if it works on something else.

I was using a screwdriver to remove staples from art canvases, not a great idea!! This works so well without effort to lift staples so they can be pulled out with pliers. Highly recommend.

I find that sometimes you have to gently work it under tight fitting staples. Then, work it under all the way to the end, slap down on the handle, and pop up goes the staple. I saw this on Youtube. I used it to remove underlayment staples and it was a wonderful tool. I wish that I had it right from the start as it made the project much easier. I read the lower rated reviews and I would like to mention that no screw is missing on the tool. It is supposed to have the loose part as that is what pushes up the staple when you push or slap down on the handle.

It made my project easier.
