Everything a beginner needs (and more!)
Got this as my first amp - I like the modelling features - you can change via the amp but also via a mobile app using Bluetooth. You can also download extra configs from Marshall - both official and user generated ones, so if you want a specific band or albums sound, you will probably find it in their database e.g. Metallica, Nirvana, Pantera etc The amp is 25W so I assumed it would be enough for hone use - if anything it's too much and I have to keep the volume dial on the lowest setting - if you go a notch or two higher it gets really loud, real quick 😂. You could easily do a small gig or family gathering with the volume this amo puts out. I'm a guitar noob and I've seen some reviews online criticizing this amp and as I've got no prior amp to compare it to, I can only base it on initial impressions, but for me, it sounds great, goes really loud and the ability to play 100 presets plus loads more online are great features. The app is a bit clunky / website are a bit clunky and the micro USB rather than USB-C show it's age (you need this for PC connection to update firmware). It was released quite some time ago but they could do with a small refresh to update this and the software. Overall really happy and if I ever need something better than this, then I will have reached a really good level with my guitar playing!
