First time using Ajwain oil. Smells kinda like thyme oil but not overwhelming like thyme. Using this in a neti-pot 2 drops in 8oz saline water to wash sinuses. So far it's good.

Ajwain Oil is made from the seed-like fruits of Trachyspermum ammi plant & known in Arurvedic & Siddha medicine. It’s said that the active essential oils in this product, thymol & carvacrol, suggested for use in many healing remedies. So far, I haven’t found it effective for topical pain relief, however, I might find a use for it yet, and will test it as an anti-fungal and in a poulstice! The oil has a pungent smell, a lot like thyme.The 30ml dark amber glass bottle is underwhelming in that it doesn’t include anything other than a sealed metal cap. The outer box is large enough to have a ml marked dropper provided, as is customary in medicinal & essential oils. I don’t appreciate the lack of certifications as to production & Non-GMO statements, or animal testing policies of Hemani, however, the brand does have several others such as Halal & cGMP (UK.) Made in Pakistan. One advertising image mentions there’s vitamins & minerals in the oil, a claim I didn’t find supported in the single ingredient oil. The box is stamped with a 44 month shelf life.Though the product was provided under Amazon's Vine program, I used the item as I would any purchase, and wrote an unbiased, honest review based on my experience.

If you have pain localized pain, earaches or migraines buy it. It won't cure them, but it is better than any topical medication I ever had. Buch better than lidocaine patches. I was surprised and super happy. It's so good.

I have chronic back pain and this works well with a homemade poultice to hold the pain for 5 hrs. Very satisfied!

Good for moderate pain and depends on severity of pain can be applied few times of the day without any side effects

This Ajwain oil has a warm, herbal aroma, however the scent was stronger than I personally prefer, I found that a little goes a long way, and it works well when diluted with a carrier oil. It does not come with a dropper, so measuring out small amounts requires a steady hand, but it’s otherwise easy to use. I tried it on my back for its warming properties and found it to be a nice addition to a natural self-care routine.

I had never heard of Ajwain Oil before and started looking into it just by becoming familiar with this product.7.25USD is a far price for this product. It does not do miracles, but maybe it can help you take less painkiller pills.I applied it topically on my head temples as I have frequently migraines, and I must admit it did help a litte... not completely, but it helped! I will keep using it for this matter to see if I ever receive any major improvements.I also applied it on my husband's wrist. He broke is arm many years ago and had a metal plate in his amr (needless to say he had pain very often). For his wrist it seemed to work really good and we will keep applying it more times a day.It's a tiny bottle, but will last for a long time. It does not come with instructions (suggestions on how to use it etc.), which would be greatly appreciated. Especially for those who never heard about this product before. It smells good, like a very strong spicy herb.Some people use Ajwain Oil for aromatherapy, as en essential oil. I am not sure if this product in the specific could be used for that too (again, lack of instructions). In any case one thing I don't like is the bottle opening: risk to pour too much product out. I wish it had some dropper-top , one of those plastic seals like for example essential oils have.
