This shoe works for one-handed people and anyone needing Velcro fastening
I bought these for my brother-in-law who needed a supportive yet comfortable shoe that was well-made and would last. He had a stroke and could only use one hand to put on his shoes. This shoe not only fit well, but he could get it on and off because of the Velcro fastening. I bought this shoe repeatedly over several years. He would always smile and say, "ah, that feels great" when I would put them on.

Comfortable and long lasting
I've been ordering these up, same shoes, for over ten years now, they last about two years a pair before it's time for another pair. They're easy to put on and comfortable. For me, the major point is easy to put on, I don't bend over too well anymore.

Good, inexpensive shoes. Trash insole
I am very hard to shop for shoes. These shoes are comfortable and wide for my "duck" feet. The insoles are straight trash though. The gel on the heel completely broke away after a day of use. I pulled them out and replaced with a one piece version so they wont. I would still buy another pair, just pull the insoles out and replace with your own.

Ordered the shoes right after I had back surgery because needed something easy to get on. They worked well for me. Easy on and off and quick to fasten.

What happened Dr Scholls???
Have ordered several pairs of Dr Scholls "Brisk" double velcro closure shoes over the years and they have always been consistent for size until this pair.Seller was fast as usual, no complaints there however, the most recent purchase (size11w just like last 5 pairs) fits more like a medium width.Held sole to sole against last pair of 11w Dr Scholls "Brisk" double velcro closure shoes reveals newest shoes are in fact considerably narrower.I hope this is a one off not the new norm.
