Algae remover
This product seems to work as stated, I have applied 2 applications and my tanks are crystal clear with no signs the algae has reappeared. Price was good and delivery was quick.

Fantastic, but be careful of how much you use
Works great very quickly. But please be very cautious with the dosage because it can harm your fish if you didn’t use properly. I would even recommend using less than the recommended dosage on the bottle, for example if the bottle says 1/2 tsp i would put 1/4 and give it couple days. I also recommend doing a 20-30% water change after the water clears up. I used it in my 5 gallon tank and I redid the math to know exactly how much i need to put. For 5 gallon tank i used a little under 0.5ml. My water never looked that clear. It works instantly to clear green water. Use only when needed.

Makes water clearer, not a substitute for water changes
I just got the product, and have only used in once. After about an hour, I started to see great results. I have a 55g tank about 3/4 filled up for a couple small turtles and feeder fish. Even after water changes, I could only see a couple inches into the tank. I can now see all the way thru the tank. I am hoping a fresh water change will make the water nice in clean/clear. I would strongly recommend. Will update if needed should ling terms results change my review

Entirely useless, but go ahead and purchase it if you want to help the company out.
Unlike others that have tricked themselves into thinking this works the fact is, tested both under laboratory conditions and in an actual pond exactly according to the directions, it did absolutely nothing. I repeated it over and over, then doubled the dose. Zero. No change in the clarity of the water, zero reduction of algae. Period. In ten days. Go ahead, give them another sale they appear desperate to generate an income. Note for those that think it worked. 1) Because you did "something else" at the same time as you poured this water into your fish tank your opinion of the product is rendered useless. So what you see in the reviews is people that *also* either shut all light from reaching the water for several days, or flushed a sand filter, or did a water change, or changed a filter, or covered the pond with vegetation, or it was cloudy, or any of a dozen other things over ten days that can/could/would reduce algae (including simply time passing) THEN attributed it to the chemical when they finally saw a result. I never achieved the slightest result in the laboratory either, diluted to the level they recommend and tracking a dozen test tubes day after day, the algae either increased or remained unchanged.

Works over time
Used to treat green hair algae in a 40g freshwater planted tank. I’ve been using this over a month now. I tried other products which did nothing. This appeared to be the same at first. However, I started noticing some effects after 3-4 doses. I upped the dose a bit, despite worry it would kill my snails. After a month of dosing every 2-3 days, it is starting to help. Many of the larger clumps have loosened and can be manually removed. There are still stubborn patches attached to rocks or in the roots of other plants, but the tank looks much better. I also tried keeping my tank covered and unlighted for about a week, but this had no effect either way. I’m also pleased that it has not eradicated my ramshorn snails. They may have decreased a bit, but are still alive and active. Other than some yellow leaves on plants - which may just be aging - my plants are also unaffected. While it’s no quick, complete fix, I do think it is helping. And, there is enough product I think I should be able to finish the job or at least control it well. UPDATE: Used this again when I had a bad algae bloom sneak up on me. My tank is heavily planted so it was difficult to notice at first. After 2-3 treatments the algae is virtually gone! This stuff is the real deal. No affect on plants, snails or fish!

Only works on some algae
Works very fast on fluffy green algae that floats around. Doesn't work on fuzzy algae growing on plants. Also, be careful about shaking the bottle -- It seems the lid isn't that tight, and I got it all over my hands, which is scary after reading the safety info on the bottle. And if you have a tank smaller than 30 gallon, you will need a dropper of some kind. According to my AI source, the active ingredient, Poly (oxyethylene) (dimethylimino) ethylene (dimethylimino) ethylene dichloride, is a cationic polymeric algaecide used to control algae growth in swimming pools and ponds. It is effective against both free-floating green algae and black algae that cling to surfaces. Unlike copper-based algaecides, it does not bioaccumulate and is considered more eco-friendly. I still need something that will kill my fuzz algae.

The Very Best Aquarium Filter I Have Ever Used
Awesome system. Easy to install and use. Lives up to its advertised performance. I installed mine in a 20-gallon freshwater tank that had a persistent green water problem because I had to set it up in a spot that gets a lot of Florida sun. I tried several algae fix solutions and daily water changes to solve the problem. All to no avail. Then I bought this UV filter. In two days of use, I had crystal clear water. My fish seem to like the device too. The male betta has chosen the top of the filter as his favorite perch. the pleco catfish cleans the intake grate. I recommend this filter without reservation.
