Should they be washed after each use or can you use them more than once? It would be useful if they came with instructions as I'd give some at Xmas.

We wash them with lathered soap then rinse in a bowl/dish with very hot 80+ degrees centigrade water after each time then cold rinse and then air/radiator dry

Are these flimsy or do they hold their shape well?

They do hold their shape very well. Have washed mine many times and they are still as good as new.
