Great little tool that works so good that you would be amazed how easy most splinters come out almost painlessly. Great adult stocking stuffer

Hope the pixs are useful 👍! I was skeptical about this purchase but after what felt like hours trying to attack the splinter with a pair of tweezers I gave up. The splinter was a flush one with only a hair sticking out. The hair was enough to hit a nerve every time it brush up against anything, even the godforsaken thread on a sweater getting caught on this thing would be enough to make me jump like a mama’s scooter!! I ended up picking up a liquid bandaid that’s pretty much similar to nail polish and polishing over the sucker. I did 2-3 coats over it so there was a nail polish bubble shape mound over the splinter. Once it dried It was perfect! It completely removed the pain of brushing up on the splinter at bay while this splinter remover arrived in the mail 3 days later (placed the order late). There is no way I’d have survived otherwise because I type for a living and even the typing triggered the stings of stabbing myself since it was my pointer finger that was stung. I was able to work with the liquid bandaid which was awesome but the bandaid does pop off after a day or two. So I was reapplying a new coat at least once a day. Now when this thing arrived in the mail I was hesitant cause the sucker is pointy as heck. I went slow. I pulled up and apart the skin around the splinter. This opened the hole up which was important because my liquid bandaid had residue left on the area too. The skin around the splinter was already hardened and so it was not painful pulling on it. This might not be the case if you just got the splinter. Once I open up the skin, I was able to find the side of the splinter, and pull it up and out with the splinter out tool. I can’t recommend this enough. A must have for any first aid kit. I also love that it came with a glass case since it is a sharp item. Hope this was helpful to you and appreciate the feedback.

If you can keep up with the small case that they come in, they work good. Easy to use, and they are good and sharp

Getting older, harder to see and remove splinters. These little tools make it easier and quicker, less painful to remove splinters. I won’t use anything else. They are sharp, more effective and easier to use than a needle.

These seem flimsy at first glance, but are actually sturdy. They take the place of a needle for removing imbedded objects and are sterile when you take them from the package, so that's a plus.
