Solution for the Toshiba TVs that come with a lame remote.
I purchased a 55 in Toshiba flat screen TV in December. I almost looked past it when I saw the pitiful remote that came with the TV (no number pad, you had to step up and down one channel at a time to change channels. Then I said to myself, I'll just buy an aftermarket remote.This remote is made to control most Toshiba TV made in the last 10 years. It has buttons for most functions, and is very inexpensive... maybe I should say cheap. It is lightweight, the buttons have a cheap feel, and the battery compartment bulges out when you insert batteries (it does not come with batteries).But it does perform more functions than the remote that came with my Toshiba TV.
