I love the look, feel, quality and size of this journal! This journal is made well. It encompasses high quality workmanship for a great price. The leather looks smooth and shiny, the embossing looks great and the stitching looks perfect. The lined pages are a good quality paper and is a good size with 240 pages. I also love that this journal comes in it's own box! This keeps it from getting damaged in shipping, I'm sure. And I honestly love to keep my journal stored in my box on a daily basis to keep it protected from scratches. I am a lover of good quality brown leather. So, obviously this journal jumped out at me. And the tree design and phrase of "Always Growing" on the front of the journal are so fitting and can be extended to many areas of a persons life. The size is perfect for me. It can fit very easily into my purse or briefcase to take with me when I am on the go. The box is approx 6"x9"x1". The journal could be used for so many purposes! A few examples: for yourself as a daily journal-er, as a gift for a graduate, for a teenager to continue documenting learning or overcoming struggles, for an individual keeping notes for the hobby they are pursuing, or someone creating a life history. The list can go on and on. I have looked for different journals over the years and this has been my favorite so far... by far. Another quality that I love about this journal is that you can replace the journal pages and continue to use this outer binder for your journal for many years to come. I am not one to normally write reviews, but this is very deserving of a great review! LOVE IT!

This product exceeded any journal that I have purchased in the past. The cover is simply beautiful, it is one of the softest covers, it is very sturdy, and I know I will have this one for a very long time. The absolute best part about this journal is you can replace the content with lined, blank, or grid paper—purchased through SohoSpark. That is just perfect. The paper comes in a bound form (the cover is a sturdy cardboard) so you can keep past data and still reuse the cover. The paper is slipped in to the front and back covers. This is truly a perfect journal.

I love this journal. I wasn’t in love with the design on front and I do wish there were more options. However after getting it I really liked the way the design looked. The whole binder is really nice. The pages lay flat and you don’t feel like you are going to tear the pages trying to get them to lay down to be able to write, I like the way the pen writes on the paper. It is smooth. I just got the journal so we have yet to see how it will do over time. But I’m optimistic things will be just fine so much so I am ordering some refills to have on hand!

Mr. Michael and his company have produced very well crafted/, beautiful, useful and lovely packaged works of art! I ordered 2 tree journals, WOW! What an absolute joy to receive! Beautiful looks handmade, leather smells great. And the paper is hardy! Works well with my fountain, roller ball and gel pens as well as pencil. This is a great journal, note book and even poetry or art sketch pad if wanted. The tree is life, and is amazing just wonderful! I wrapped a bit of spare homespun cordage around mine to keep it closed with pencils and pens inside the cover. Otherwise, cannot complain

Beautiful cover and quality. The only thing I dislike is the way the actual notebook is bound together. It makes it hard to write on the back of the pages as you get towards the binding. Think of a composition notebook. Otherwise- I highly recommend!

This item ( the Tree Journal) was absolutely perfect as a gift for my son. We liked the fact that it was refillable. The craving of the Tree on the cover is very inspirational. He was very pleased with the durability of the journal as he carries it around with him into all kinds of places. It should hold u very well.

This was everything I was looking for in a journal. I plan to use this as a gift to my child as a journal of their life and my feelings/ experiences raising them. I bought this for the cover as I needed one for my Jibun Techo A5 slim and a couple other smaller notebooks. It is perfect (not too big) and it's beautiful. I love it!

The journal is very beautiful, however the material feels very cheap. I love the design on the front, and will keep it to write a story for someone in. However, for the price I paid, I was expecting better quality. When I opened the journal, the removable book of paper on the inside shifted with the cover. The cover isn’t connected to the paper (which I knew) but I thought the two would jive better together. The journal came in a nice box, and a nice wrapper over it the journal. I’ll be gifting it in the box and wrapper because it makes it look so nice.
