I got hooked on truffle mayo after I had it at a restaurant and this one was absolutely delicious!! Worth the price I paid!! Will probably buy it again!!

tasty and better than anticipated

I’ve ordered this expensive mayo 3 times. It tastes good, when it’s good. But the first jar I got was a bit funky looking, and this third jar, as you see in the photos, was separated and curdled. Disgusting looking. I had the runaround trying to get a refund for it because the item is not returnable, and all the layers of automated Amazon help kept telling me nothing could be done. I finally got to speak to a real agent, who did offer a refund, thank goodness. But that is too much hassle to go through; probably would have been easier just to find the truffles myself and add it to some Duke's mayo! <JK>, but buyer beware!

I was hesitant to spend $16 on what essentially amounted to "mushroom mayonnaise", but there was truffle aoli on a gourmet burger at a high-end restaurant and I was jonesing for more after. I added this to my cart and mulled it over for a few days until I finally bit the bullet. And oh man, I was SO GLAD that I did. It was absolutely worth it! It was gone in just a couple months - we put this on EVRYTHING from burgers, in gourmet mac and cheese, grilled cheese sandwiches, patty melts, to elaborate umai style hotdogs. I will definitely buy this again!

EXCELLENT PRODUCT. RICH AND TASTY

I spread this flavorful black truffle mayonnaise on sandwiches (breakfast and lunch) to enhance the taste and I'm always surprised by how little is required to really make a big difference. I was pleasantly surprised by this product and I keep reordering it! Definitely a crowd-pleaser!!

It was just what I was looking for. Love the taste of the truffles.

Disclaimer: I've never tried truffle mayo before, so I have no basis of comparison, but I won't be buying this again. There's an "off" taste to it, and I expected something richer and creamier, but this not pleasing to my palate. It was an interesting experience. Tried it because of SORTED (amazing youtube cooking channel!), but maybe some other truffle oil or something might be better suited for me?
