Replaces old times and much more durable.

Replaced old fiberglass insulated panels that had a PVC coating on one side. These are really easy to work with and cut with a utility knife and a straight edge. The best part is that they are so much cleaner than the old panels, both in handling and in the look. The painted pattern will help to hide any minor dings or scratches from handling. I did notice that the white backside shows every little bit of dust and dirt, so I would not consider them reversible. The painted pattern looks just like the pattern on old acoustical ceiling panels.

Washer drain on first floor froze and sent water into basement destroying some 30 tiles in downstairs apartment. These are really nice replacements with same pattern and easy to cut where needed. No more mess and fear of water damage. Only negative is some do not lay completely flat , but not very noticeable. Wish these would have been around when I first built my house.

My bathrooms, like many, are stacked above each other. I have had some kind of leak every 5 years or so, and must replace (sometimes paint- costly in time and imperfect) the old tiles. My last leak required me to only mop up, prop the tiles open for air circulation, and life goes on, the tiles look perfect. They wont absorb sound like the old Armstrongs, but the look very similar Highly recommended.

They didn`t drop perfectly but were flexible and with a little bending dropped in tight for a more secure fit !!
