Smooth writing pen

Not what it was.
I bought this for use in my work, I need a red pen to contrast against the black ink. I recall Papermate red pens used to be bold and red. This was pastel red or a medium light pink, it didn't contrast at all, it got lost in the black ink. A teacher certainly couldn't use it to mark papers with. At first I thought it was because it was new and the ink hadn't started to run yet, but nope...that was the ink color. I had to return it. A pity, it was a good product and a great price. I guess they changed their ink formula over the years.
