I have ordered and received on time, I am using for Washing Machine and Gas Geyser, the additional benefit is you can use it either ways, it works amazingly. As in our society Boring water is used its very very useful, the installation is very easy no professional is required to install and the build quality is also superb. Its use has reduce stains of boring water in washing machine and geyser both. Earlier clothes use to be yellowish in washing machine but after installation due to clean water clothes are clean and white. Thanks .... I am ordering two more for my wash basin and flush tank.

Pretty compact and functional kit for the washing machine. Water is filtered really well. However the most frustrating part is its installation. Water keeps leaking from here and there. The elbow joint provided is pretty short and is a task to fit on Whirlpool machines. You have to use tons of teflon tape to fix all leaks. It's a trial and error job and takes a lot of time.Value for money product though.UPDATE - The filter chokes and becomes unusable if the washing machine is not used frequently. You have open and clean it everytime before usage.

Looks bulky. Circumference too big to be accommodated at the back of the top load washing machine though picture shows otherwise. Filter quality is ok. The water pressure comes down resulting in more time taken for the whole washing cycle

For long time I was searching for a water filter which is economical and will clean tap water of sediment and dust. Delhi water supply has a lot of mud in it. Earlier used filters by Waterscience company but they were ineffective and too expensive to maintain. Finally this filter did the job well. It is a simple sponge sediment filter (like the one in RO system) which clears water of all sediments. Also provided are water softner balls ?alum which is supposed to be good for skin. I bought 3 sets of filters ....2 for bathing taps and one for washing machine. After using in washing machine, the pungent smell in washed clothes is gone. Definitely recommend to buy. It's easy to install like DIY.

The build of the filter compartment is good but the fitment provided as below average and starts leaking.. Worst in terms of long term, I had removed the filter to clean after month and now it is leaking through the fitment.. Bad product, stay away..

Good filtration.The connection procedure is quite easy as per instructions leaflet.The size of thread of hex coupling is bit loose, so required to put lot of teflon to arrest the water leakage.

Updated:Not sure about the hardness of the water but it does the filter the water very well as the filter was pure white while installing and after 2 weeks the filter color has turned brown that means the water is so dirty that without this filter it would spoiled the washing machine as well as the clothes.Secondly, it says that the filter also softens the water with the alkaline balls but there is no way to find that out if it does or not. This is not a negative point but its the case in any filter you buy.Overall, I would recommend this product for washing machine and wherever there is you wish to install. I also plan to buy 2 more soon.I can say that the hardness of the water is definitely reduced as earlier when the clothes or utensils (when connected to normal tap) were washed, there used to be white marks(caused by the residue of the hard water) but after using this filter there are no marks until the alkaline balls lasts. Hence, until you keep an eye on the alkaline balls life and keep replacing them periodically the hardness of the water is taken care.
