Honda 31570-VL0-W01 Battery Charger Assembly

Glad I bought this. Fixed what I thought was my starter was broke. Did not come with my Honda mower purchase so had larger lawn when I first bought, moved and smaller lot and it does not run to fully charge, so worked perfect.

I purchased this battery charger to charge my Honda Electric Start Mower Battery for when the temperatures drop in the fall. Charger came one day late only because the postal service sent it out the wrong direction and it had to come back. Completely happy with the purchase.

Did not recharge the battery. I verified it is the correct model but after 48 hours of charging (a battery only a couple of months old) I got nothing.My lawn mower had run down the battery and I was not strong enough to use the pull chord to get it started.Tried it again and still no results.

1. Original charger wouldn't charge batteries. Tested output with meter; no output voltage. Returned charger.2. Easy return. Replacement charger works great. Very satisfied w/Amazon and Mower Partsman rapid customer service. Would have given a 5-star rating if not for the need to return.NOTE: This charger is designed to attach to 12-volt batteries with F2/T2 terminals. Many of the more recent 12v SLA (Sealed Lead Acid) batteries come with F1/T1 terminals. I've purchased F1->F2 adapters so this charger can be used with either battery type. Connection w/adapter requires more care, but makes charger more versatile.

Easy to use. Correct connection.

Works great. I think charging the batteries at the beginning of the season improves the overall starting performance. I own two Honda electrical start mowers.

When you insert battery pack into plug, the electrical contacts might get dislodged from the plastic jacket. I thought the first one was defective but the replacement did the same thing. As others have mentioned , an indicator light would be nice to tell you when charging is complete.

This did not work for my hrx-217 honda mower. To close together and would not connect
