I really love Vallejo paints. This is no different. Sprays great with very minor thinning. Sticks to everything I've sprayed it on. Good stuff.

I build model cars as a hobby, and usually the chromed parts look toy-like. I was using a black wash on them, but it still wasn't where I wanted. So I started stripping the chrome parts down to the bare plastic using oven cleaner, wash and dry them, and reapply a chrome paint. The best effects come when a glossy black primer is laid down first. And that's where this comes in. It has great adhesion applied through a .5 airbrush needle at 35 PSI. The color is a pure black, and it's a self leveling primer. I spray 3 mist coats, drying it with a hair dryer between coats, and then finally a wet coat. After the wet coat, I let it dry and cure for 24 hours, and then I apply the new chrome paint. The 24 hour cure helps improve adhesion of the chrome paint. This primer really helps to have the chrome color look true to life and it stays on once it's cured. Perfect adhesion and extremely durable. You can control the thickness and coverage. And it's ready to spray out of the body, so it's not watery unless you thin it. Although it's a little more expensive than the other primers I use, this really makes the chrome paint "pop". And it's not just for chrome either. You can use it under other dark colors to get a lustrous look to your final color. 5 stars

Update 8/10/21 I added a mixing ball to the bottle and it made a great improvement. Primer covers much better and is glossier. Upped my rating to 4 stars. Would be 5 stars had Vallejo seen fit to include the necessary mixing ball to begin with. Bought this to use under Vallejo color shift paint. This seems to be an okay primer. Maybe there was something wrong with my bottle but it required a lot of coats and there was very little "gloss". For my purposes I found nothing to justify the cost.

Well, the bottle has lasted me quite a bit, got through a decent number of 40k models with the first bottle, and I've still got a bit left, mainly using it on Necron bodies and weaponry, pretty much anything other than the bits you'd want looking bright. Even if you don't know what you're doing, a thin layer of this makes for a nice base when painting the models. It's has a nice shine on it's own, and a smooth texture to go along with the glossiness.

This is a great acrylic gloss primer. I think it is a must have for any modeler who paints with acrylic colors. It adheres very well to any detail. It doesn't need to be diluted, I had no issues applying it as is or with a few drops of the flow improver.

This makes a nice base. It's easy to put on too thick. It sprays well when thinned a bit. It also brushes well.

Not the best results, starting to question the brand in general

por el costo y el precio , la verdad me lo imaginaba bastante mas grande , pero no fue el caso , por otro lado se demoro 15 dias mas de lo esperado y el envió recayó en los correos locales de mi estado , si tienes la paciencia , te la recomiendo pero en caso de que no , creo que seria mejor contemplar otras posibilidades .

This is a good primer (Gloss). It was used as the base coat on my Phantoms jet pipes and heat shield areas.
