Spooktacular Creations Halloween Costume for Kids, Boys & Toddlers - Ninja Accessories Set for DressUp Party

For Halloween this year, my son wanted to be a "red ninja" and picked this option out on Amazon while scrolling through the results of our search. As a parent, I was more than happy with the cost of this costume, it was a great value and came with many accessories and high quality pieces! The shipping wasnt overnight or terribly fast, but it arrived in plenty of time for Halloween and a few harvest parties the week of. The costume was lightweight, definitely not thick enough to keep your little one warm, but I was able to layer a long-sleeve shirt and hoodie comfortably underneath the costume. i really like the details that went in to this ninja cosplay...particularly, the top layered vest like piece..looks really cool, has shiny red material that makes the costume "pop", and has an authentic feel. There is a belt that has loops and velcro to attach some of the accessories like the ninja stars and plastic "blades". A lightweight, longsleeve, black undershirt goes under the ninja vest, and comes with a hoodie that has a cowl neck that serves as a mask that extends over the nose, right below the eyes. It doesnt obstruct their vision which is nice ,and they may be able to get away with wearing it to school when costumes are permitted since they tend to just have rules like "no masks" or "no swords". There are many small touches that make this costume stand out in a good way. My son got increasingly excited as he put on each piece of his costume and transformed into the "red ninja".Another consideration that is possibly particular, is that it is easy for kiddos to take off, at least the bottom portion. We are well into potty training, my son is 5 and had been using the potty for a wihle now. ALthough, I still am intentional about the kinds of bottoms I put on him for school. No buttons, skinny jeans, ect. I like him to be able to dress himself easily when at school. This costume is easy for kids to use the bathroom in, and the elastic waistband is nice and stretchy. None of the costume is tight or fits weirdly or uncomfortably.I would consider repurchasing this costume in another size or for another one of my kiddos because of its value, and quality. My kid is still playing with the accessories despite having the costume put up for another use. If he ever has a costume day or party to go to, this could be a good option that can be useful from season to season. Its lightweight enough to be used during the summer, and capable of layering warmer pieces underneath it during chilly Halloween activities. Considering I have multiple kids to buy costumes for, I'm mainly thankful I could find something that he likes that was gentle on my wallet! A win is a win!

This ninja costume is really fantastic! My 7 year old son absolutely loves it. We ordered a size Large (10-11). He is approx. 54inches tall and 75lbs. The costume is really great and all of the features make it stand out from the other ninja costumes we looked at. However, my only complaint is that the shirt is very small compared to the pants, which are a little too big. The shirt length is short and barely reaches his waist and the sleeves are short too. Both of which have little consequence given the silver cuffs included in the costume which cover his wrists and a good portion of his forearm, as well as the front part of the costume, which is worn like an apron over the shirt covers his waist. I considered just letting him wear a regular black shirt instead, but I dont think that would work out for the hooded part with the face mask - which is also VERY tight, although I think that may be how it is intended. Now the pants are appropriate length, and the waste is a good fit, but the legs are really baggy and the silver laces that are wrapped around the bottom of the pant legs are sewn onto the pants in a fixed position, which is way too loose to maintain the intended criss-cross shape, as they are fitted to the width of the baggy pant legs. I plan to just take the laces off the pants and reattach them with the appropriate width for his legs, even though the fabric will be a little bunched up under the laces. Or I may simply just tie them on instead of sewing them back on. Overall great costume - the difference in the size of the shirt and pants is the only reason I did not give 5 stars. If I ordered a size smaller, the shirt would not have fit. If I ordered a size larger, the pants would be way too large and would probably not stay up on his waist.

This was pretty decent quality for the price and came with so many accessories. My son loved it.

My 4 year old seen this and had to have it. He loved it for Halloween and to keep and wear to play in. The size fit perfect. He wears 4 t 5t. Nice costume.

Everything that's pictured that it says it comes with was there and it was mostly true to size. The hood part of it that makes the top half of the mask didn't fit very well. I had to keep fixing it for him all evening. Also with the little knives, if you turn a certain way or catch your elbow on one, they fall out VERY easily. For the most part tho it was a decent costume.

My son really liked this for Halloween! His fav was all the attachments that came with this outfit, I loved how they were made of foam lol. Great costume the the cost!
