I rarely write reviews, but I had to share my experience with the Aveeno Eczema Therapy Nighttime Itch Relief Balm because it has completely transformed my skin.For the past few years, I’ve struggled with a stubborn patch of eczema on my chest along with generally dry, irritated skin. I’ve been to doctors, tried prescription steroid creams, and nothing seemed to make a real difference. Out of frustration, I did some research here on Amazon, saw all the positive reviews for this balm, and decided to give it a shot.Within just a few weeks of using it, mostly during the day right after my shower, and the results have been incredible. The eczema patch that wouldn’t go away for years has finally healed and disappeared completely. My overall skin texture and appearance have improved so much. It feels softer, smoother, and healthier than it’s been in a long time. I truly believe this product has helped repair my skin barrier in a way that nothing else has.If you’ve been struggling with persistent eczema or dry, sensitive skin, I can’t recommend this balm enough. It’s gentle, soothing, and for me, truly life-changing.

I have been on the lookout for a product that would equal to or better than Petroleum Jelly. I think I've found it with this product. I think this is the best lotion out there and can and should be used whether or not you have Eczema.PROS:1. Once it goes on, it lasts for 2-3 days with only minor touch ups.2. It goes on easily whether the skin is moistened or not.3. The smell isn't overpowering4. It's water soluble, so I can slug my body, but still be able to wash the palms of my hands so they don't feel greasy and gooey.5. It's FSA approved! I like to stock up a year in advance.CONS:1. It moisturizes differently than petroleum jelly. PJ, creates a barrier over the water and the skin. It's not water soluble.Aveeno Eczema merges with the water and provides a barrier that releases the water into the skin, like extended release. - If you're not careful, you can waste AE because the skin is too wet.2. It's a little cost prohibitive if you're on a budget

I am excited to share my results from using this product for four nights. This Aveeno product is excellent. I have tried so many products, prescription creams, a course of prednisone, home remedies, buffalo tallow, aloe sun burn gel…….NOTHING has worked for the dermatitis on my face and neck, until I got this. After the first night of use, my face was about 90% clearer. I’ve used it four nights now and I feel like I no longer suffer from dermatitis. I can hardly believe it!! No more itching, burning, swollen eye lids, cheeks, and neck, no more skin with a weird, wrinkly texture. It’s all back to my normal!!

I love Aveeno. This is my first purchase of the Eczema nighttime balm. It is super thick. It feels like Vaseline. It does feel greasy after you put it on. Obviously it is for eczema so it has to be moisturizing. I do have eczema. Aveeno lotions imo do not feel greasy after you apply which is why I love their lotions. This balm is definitely perfect for applying at nighttime to help heal your skin while you have some down time. My skin always splits due to extremely dry skin even though I use lotions every time I wash my hands and after showers. This would be perfect after a shower to lock in the moisture. I would definitely recommend. I use the silicone “socks” at night when my feet are in need of moisture. This would be perfect to use before putting on the silicone socks. The silicone socks do feel like chicken cutlets being put on your feet but in the morning when you take them off my feet are so soft and smooth. I can turn the jar upside down and it didn’t move, that’s how thick it is. I will purchase again.

This is the best skin cream I've ever used. It's smooth as silk, a better barrier cream than A&D, smells nice, lasts a long time, helps with itch, and a dab will do ya. I absolutly recommend this stuff. I wish I'd found it sooner.

This cream really helped my sons eczema flare ups . He was extremely dry and this is thick enough to coat and absorb into the skin. I only use this once a day at night for my son and it does wonders . His skin is soft all day and his flareups are less .
