Excellent Product w/ equal Customer Support....I'm happy
Excellent Ipad Pro keyboard case if your OK with the heft. It's heavy of course, but therefore should give great protection. I like it for it just enhances the quality feel. Keyboard itself has nice tactile response as do the rubber nubs for the volume and power controls. Detachable magnetic screen can be viewed at various angles and functions well, solid. Kickstand is effective but takes a little effort to put into place....probably a good thing. The soft rubbery (silicone?) exterior surface of the case feels nice and I recommend it, but it's a magnet for pet hair and the like. What can you do. Initial Bluetooth pairing was a little tricky for me but eventually no problem. Cut-outs for the Ipad Pro's 4 speakers curve forward a bit so as to "point" the sound towards the listener..... I'm not sure of this part of the design since it MAY take away from the surround sound ambiance but it's not a problem since I usually listen through the 3.5mm jack. Don't let this stop you. I usually don't toot a company's horn but this product is a BUY. I paid full Amazon price. ZAGG support is awesome. This alone gives me comfort knowing they stand by their product.

Great KB & case combo!
I've had Zagg iPad cases for years. Recently my current one's hinge broke on one side (travel abuse, not defective) and this is the closest to the model I had. So close, indeed that my old keyboard fit this one perfectly! The old one had a tacky, non-slip rubber coating where this is more rigid, hard plastic. Now that I have it, I think I like this better for handling the day - to - day travel wear & tear. Since I'm still using my old keyboard, it has the rubber coating so I get the best of both worlds and have a brand new keyboard on deck should the old one go belly up or get lost. The iPad / screen kickstand on this unit is rubber coated, which I really like as it holds the iPad in place nicely when doing the touch screen thing while it's standing. Big fan of Zagg products. The batteries in the keyboard units last forever on a charge, the keys are light but still "Feely" and the entire assembly doesn't add a tremendous amount of weight to the iPad package. The fact that the keyboard snaps into place by magnets and is fully removable too make this the perfect solution for my needs. As long as they keep making this good of stuff, I'll keep coming back to Zagg!

Durable case with a great keyboard
Had I known about this case when I originally purchased my iPad in 2016, I would have selected it. It's durable, rugged and a great fit for how I use the iPad with a keyboard. It's a bit heavy but that's not an issue for me. I use my iPad for Zwift workouts on my stationary bike and I do not have to take the iPad out of the case as it fits in the stand I use. Since the keyboard detaches from the case, it's a great option for my needs. The magnet holds the keyboard securely in place when I use it with the iPad. The option to pair with other devices like my Mac and iPhone is a bonus. Very happy with this case. Great quality.

4.5 Stars - Oh if m
4.5 stars really! Bought this because my Belkin case worn slap out and I couldn’t find another one. This was the closest match I could find to it and I’d say it’s done a pretty nice job! Protection wise - I even like this case better. Actually seems studier than the Belkin and I’m not going to have to worry about the leather wearing off like I did with the old case. The keyboard is good and holds its charge and connects quickly. I haven’t had any problems with it. The back light feature for the keyboard is a little lame. It lights up the actual keyboard, NOT the keys so it is not helpful. There is a large “hump,” for lack of a better term, where the case attaches to the keyboard. It’s just a design feature. It’s not my cup of tea, but you get used to it. I’m also not too keen on the Apple Pencil holder on the back, but again, I get why its there. Seriously, my only big frustration with this case is that there is no latch for the case to stay closed - I wish there was some type of magnetic closure to keep it shut. If it had that, I’d give this 5 stars!

Will be looking a different brand.
Poor quality. I just purchased this not even a month ago and it is already broken. I have to tape it to stay together.

One of Zagg’s better if not best products.
I was skeptical about getting this case after reading the poor reviews of other Zagg case models with their poor build quality. Ive been using this for almost a year and only good things to say about it. The magnetic hinge works great and is my favorite feature. It comes apart easily and snaps back in place when I’m done with tablet mode. The infinitely adjustable kickstand is super useful and so far has proven durable despite heavy daily use. The modest loop on the back accommodates my Apple Pencil pretty well. It holds it securely and my pencil hasn’t fallen out yet. The keyboard works well for its size and there is no real noticeable Bluetooth lag. You do have to wait a sec before you can type while the wireless connection is made after opening the case. Def not as instantaneous as the Apple keyboard. I can type at a decent clip with the smaller layout and the keys feel pretty solid. As a bonus the pencil can rest conveniently on the magnets right above the number keys at the top of the keyboard as you type. Keys are well laid out and the compromises are well thought out. Battery life is spectacular. I haven’t had to charge it in months and could probable go easily for a year or more. The only downside is the added weight and bulk. But I’d gladly trade that for the convenience, features, and protection that this case offers.

Seems great, except for a couple of things
I've had several Zagg keyboard cases for my iPads and I love being able to turn my device into a pseudo-laptop. Other versions of the Zagg keyboard case had significant hinge problems, but this one seems pretty solid. We'll see over time, but for now I'm reasonably happy. There are two things I would fix on this one if I could, though: 1) They need better directions on how to connect your iPad to the case. The connection process itself is reasonable, but it's the reconnection that's a problem. On my older Zagg cases, you had to turn on the keyboard to connect to the iPad. On this one, you just press a key to connect. It took me a bit to figure that out. 2) For a case that advertises itself as rugged, you would think that it would include some way to keep the screen secured in a closed position. I dropped it a foot or so from the floor, and the screen flopped open. Thankfully nothing broke. All of the padding in the world is useless if the screen is exposed. Overall, I'll be mostly happy with the purchase, so long as it lasts.
