Epson OEM ribbon, works great on my EQ590

I have tried so many off brand ribbons in the past, but never again! These are reasonably priced and always work as expected. Sometimes quality counts more than price.

So far, the quality is good. Works just like the expensive one I bought from the big box store.

I usually have to change the cartridge out once every 2 months........as soon as I see the ink start to fade out, otherwise no matter what brand you use, the ribbon will break. I do a LOT of printing on a dot matrix printer and I have found that you really have to stay with the name brands in order to get the best perfomance. The off brands are junk and the ribbons will break or wear holes way before the ink is gone. I watch for a build up of "dust" and "lint" and always use canned air to blow all that stuff out. It will add life to the printer and ribbon.

This ribbon lasts a long time and is very reliable.

Much cheaper to buy from Amazon and all have been great quality.

I ordered 3 Epson LQ-590 Ribbon Cartridges last week and received them on Friday, June 27. Was happy they came in 2 days. But when I put the ribbon in the printer you could hardly read the print. I used it for about 15 minutes, took it out and replaced it. Not any better. I then went to the second ribbon but it was no better. The ribbons are so old that the print is not readable. The box says it was produced 1/16/25 but they are no good. I will not buy any more from Amazon.
