Buy buy buy!
My absolute favorite stethoscope for work. I work with majority of the geriatric population and they don’t like breath deep enough to hear their lungs sounds but this amplified setting makes the world of difference. You can set settings for heartbeat, lung, or both. There’s an app you can record with to compare the sounds you hear. The length is standard. The charge lasts forever, and doesn’t take long too get full. I got a standard black but there are plenty to choose from. Overall, YOU NEED THIS! Trust me, it makes the world of difference.

Would buy
I absolutely love mine. I've used it for a few years now and work full time in fire and ems. The streets are loud and unpredictable. Having a tool that can help with that is amazing. Very user friendly and functional.

Great for hearing impaired nurses
Great for hearing impaired nurses like myself, able to adjust hearing magnification and eliminate background noise.

Love, love, love!
Best stethoscope I've ever used. There is an option to turn the volume up or down. You can easily hear heart abnormalities. It is lightweight and durable. I will never buy another type of stethoscope. Worth the money.

Really nice for an overpriced device.
As a former Fire & Rescue EMT I went all out and I bought this 3M Littmann CORE digital stethoscope to compliment my Wellue BP2 Connect - Blood Pressure Monitor + AI-ECG and O2/pulse finger monitor. I will be adding a few more items to my "set" soon. My declining health and doctors somewhat dictated that I get those and few other things. I decided that I would bite the bullet and get now what I could not afford as and EMT back then. Sometimes nice things just make you feel better, at least that was my perspective and rationale that I used to justify this. I will leave it to my favorite doctor in my Will! lol It is nice and works well, but very overpriced for me and my application- that of being the patient and not a doctor, especially a cardiologist and that is who this setup is aimed at. I would like to suggest that they have an APP that is aimed for people/users like me, but it is a HIGH QUALITY PROFESSIONAL DEVICE and I suspect that there are very few of the MEs out there that will spring for this and at the price they ask. When I saw my GP today he and his assistant were impressed, and got the appropriate amount of OOOHs and AAAAHHHs that one would expect. I like COPPER color and that is what I got with gold being to tripe and overused now-days I picked COPPER as my go-to metallic color of choice. I do with the metal earpieces would match instead of being black, but I bet I can make a project of it and copper plate it at home one of these days??However, after getting this and more contemplation- I have decided that if I were todo it over again, YES- I would do it again. Now if I can find an APP that would let me integrate this S-Scope with the Wellue products then I would be a really happy camper. I don't have time to learn to program an APP to do it so I will just have to hope some bored programmer will and let me know! lolYES- If this is what you need and want, go for it- buy it and then ask nicely for better software if you need it (like me). I did not like the optional ID tag that I purchased with it. At any price (or free) is a cheap-out option to go with such a fine medical instrument and then put their name on it!?! What were you thinking 3M/LITTMANN? Someone in authority needs to see the packaging and quality and reconsider that option, seriously reconsider.Yes- get the S-scope CORE Digital thing and pass up the optional ID thing. Maybe use a gold paint pen and write your name behind the short hose, sounds trashy but it is a step up from what they offer and actually put their brand on! If you have any questions feel free to ask.

Excellent
I had wanted one of these stethoscopes for a long time. But I was very concerned that the money spent would not be worth it. I ultimately decided to splurge and go for it. I’m so glad I did! I have not yet used the app feature, but I am very pleased with the amplifier. I’m picking up things I never heard before. And I feel more confident in my diagnoses because I can be sure that I did or did not hear adventitious lung sounds or murmurs, etc..I was a little concerned about the eight hour battery life at first. However, I don’t leave the stethoscope on throughout my entire shift. I turn it on when I listen and turn it back off when I’m done. So rather than having to charge my stethoscope every day, I’m charging my stethoscope maybe once a month or every six weeks. I like that it is rechargeable. I hate having to buy and replace batteries.I highly recommend the stethoscope. I won’t ever go back to a regular one. Whether you’re a nurse, advanced practitioner, physician, this stethoscope is excellent and I highly recommend it.
