Works fine - wish the included bleeder hoses were just a little longer.
Installed and works leak free, which is why the old one needed replacement. I will say this was a little difficult to bench bleed. A bleeding kit was included, but the hoses that go from the bleeder fittings are a little too short to stay put at or near the bottom of the master cylander reservoir. An extra set of hands was needed for that part.

This does not fit my vehicle ford explorer 2007
When I selected this product for the purchase, The amazon web site showed "This fits your: Ford Explorer 2007" (one of my garage vehicle in my profile of www.amazon.com). So I proceeded to purchase the product.When I received it and I tried to install in my Ford Explorer Eddie Bauer 2007, The Cardone Select 13-2862 New Brake Master Cylinder not fit in my vehicle and I couldn't use the product.

Questionable quality control?
I purchased one of these about 2 weeks ago for my 2002 Ranger Edge 4WD w/ Cruise Control, as my original master cylinder had started slowly bypassing. The hardware seemed good, and it came with a bleeder kit, which was nice! Got the install done and followed all of the instructions in the FSM (Bench bleed, install, bleed lines to ABS, bleed the bleed screw on the master cyl, then I flushed my brakes for good measure).Everything seemed great, until yesterday when my pedal went to the floor! Fortunately, right at the end of travel the brakes engaged and stopped me, but it was not a good feeling. I got the truck home, and after pumping the pedal a bunch of times (with NO change in feel) and looking at every fitting to make sure there wasn't a leak, suddenly the problem just went away. I'm not positive, but everything I've looked into says defective master cylinder, so I'm returning this and paying the $$ for the Motorcraft one. I've learned my lesson about cheaping out on brakes.
