Super Easy Way To Supplement Your Salads (even if you have a black thumb)
I absolutely love the idea of gardening, but alas I have a black thumb. My husband rolls his eyes every time I bring any plant home. I am great at the start, and thrilled to see plants thrive, but then for whatever reason I tend to have a difficult time maintaining them. Before long I am giving away a pitiful specimen for someone else to love on. When I saw a video on the benefits of broccoli sprouts I was so excited, it seemed so simple. My husband grumbled when I purchased two grow jars with stands and slipcovers and I purchased a bag of these Source Nutrition Broccoli Seeds. They are an incredible price for 1lb of seeds which will keep me in sprouts for about 4 months. I picked them because they are non-GMO and a USA product. These seeds are easy to sprout and I add them to my kale salad every day. So if you have a short attention span when it comes to the care of plants, no worries - they grow so quick and you eat them before you hit the maintaining stage. Even my husband was impressed! Hints that I have learned: First soak the seeds in white vinegar for 15 minutes (set a timer) then rinse well. This helps disinfect the seeds and gives me a better germination rate. Do not soak them in vinegar more than 15 minutes or you will likely have zero germination rate.

I'm addicted to broccoli sprouts to heal neuro damage from the forced shot to keep my job!
I have to be careful how I word this as c*ns*rsh*p is the new normal. I was SEVERELY damaged by a medical procedure I had to endure to keep my Federal Government job in September. I now regret it and should have let them fire me. But, anyway, I have major neurological and connective tissue/muscular/joint damage at 23+ weeks post procedure. This includes memory issues and severe pain. When I learned about sulforaphane and how it can help heal neurological damage...and that broccoli sprouts contain a huge amount of it, I bought this company's bag of seeds along with some much more expensive local seeds (I was impatient for the shipment) and a sprouting jar weeks ago. The pain is still really bad (and I'm getting stem cell therapy at almost $1,000/month) but I "think" my memory is improving...although I struggle a little to think of the correct word, etc. But, beyond that, I have fallen in love with broccoli sprouts! They are ADDICTING! I need to buy more jars so I never run out. Reading some other reviews here, I do think that putting 1/4 cup into a jar is too much. Many of the seeds don't sprout and get wasted, so I may need to use a smaller amount. Also, one reviewer mentioned that distilled water works better. Thank you to all of you who have posted helpful information. I'm a long term vegan, but have gone back to a mostly raw diet to try to heal the major damage after 9/21/2021...and I think I'm on the right track. If you do not know of Doug Evans, look him up. He truly feels that sprouting can save the world!

Easy to sprout
I grow these seeds in a mason jar. The amount of seeds that germinate is very high. It's amazing how few seeds are required to produce the good amount of sprouts. Growing these sprouts are very easy. its much cheaper to buy the seeds and grow the seeds rather than buying the sprouts from the store.
