96 LEDS IR Illuminator 850nm Array Infrared Lamps With Sensor 12v Night Vision Outdoor Waterproof For CCTV Security Camera

I researched these IR illuminators extensively. A lot of the ones on the web had very bad reviews. I selected this one because of the price/value point and on balance the reviews were quite good. I have installed it and tested it with my security camera. It is very effective. There is a big difference with it turned on and off. The range and spread is very good. Lights up 15 to 20 m, ,maybe more if the lamp is tilted up, but that is how I set it. The build quality is really good, with a sturdy aluminium case and a glass screen. Easy to fit with 2 screws. There is a visible red glow when it's on. More or less the same as the glow from the IR emitter on the camera. Not a problem to me. Hopefully it will attract the spiders that love to make webs across the camera - they seem to be attracted to the IR light! Can't assess the water resistance as it's just been installed. But it looks well built, should be OK. Recommended.

As you can see the ring camera infrare not powerful up to reach the bottom garden, but this cheap solution is a great option. NOT a flood light will not illuminate very bright to the human eye. Will ONLY perform well when your camera is set to night vision !

The IR lamp is illuminates very well even over long distances. Plenty of illumination over a 20 x 20 metre area. It has a ambient light sensor to trigger IR illumination when daylight fades and night arrives. This is achieved with a photodiode-like sensor which is part of the grid array of IR illuminator LEDs. It sits in the bottom left side of the array. Runs cool with a 12v 2 amp 'wall wart-type' power supply. Seems well made but shame it doesn't come with a power supply as its not mains supplied. Bit expensive for what it is but does the job I bought it for.

I fell for the power supply issue as well..it needs to be stated in the advert if tjeres no plug. Luckily i had a 12v dc plug from another item i have spare. That said once you have one that fits..its plug and play. it gives off a red glow but thats all you can see. It works really well. back garden fence is about 15 geet from the light and its like daylight on the IR cctv. very good. it lights the full hill also behind the fence right to the top. very good IR floodlight..just a shame you do not supply the plug! 4 stars

I actually use this for some indoor security cameras and it does the job perfectly. The light spread is sufficient enough to fill the room and spread to an adjacent room if angled right. The light is fairly small and easy to set up. Very good product for the price.

Perfect for my needs. Lights up to the end of my 20m garden with no problem for the camera's :)

I have bought this item before, this was a replacement after the former had a number of diodes go out. This item was fine for a month but them 80% of the diodes dimmed considerably and the remainder dimmed slightly. Not as effective or reliable as my previous one which I have gone back to as it is now brighter than this replacement.

Upgraded to the LED infrared illuminator light and I couldn't be happier. This light has been a significant improvement over my old and recently broken 30° light. It provides excellent visibility, great output - no more grainy video. The build quality is good and i hope it will last at least as long as the old one. I would recommend this light to anyone looking for a wide spread infrared light. Its a good value. I will update if when it breaks.

ordered two in sept 2024, didnt have the time to istalled it. Hooked one up 6 weeks ago and it already failed, will swap it for the other one tomorrow,see how long this one will last

Renforce considérablement la vision nocturne des caméras. Idéal aussi pour éviter les reflets de toiles d'araignées ou d'insectes en déportant ce projecteur de quelques dizaines de centimètres de la caméra et en désactivant l'infrarouge natif de la caméra. Domage que l'alimentation ne soit pas fournie même si le projecteur ne demande rien d'extraordinaire.
