Very practical.
I love this little thing. It's a really nice colour. It's small, light and folds up flat so it's quick and easy to put away. I have very limited workspace in my kitchen it's exactly what is needed. It's sturdy too. So often things like this just become another dust catcher in the kitchen because they're not practical enough, but we use this every day.

Great, sturdy, fold-up bookstand
Surprisingly good for its size and price. Cookbooks are notoriously large and quite heavy, and this wee stand holds them up without a problem. The clip on the front holds the pages open and the book in place. I also use it for holding an A4 ring-binder full of photocopied songsheets, again without difficulty. It's 6-way adjustable and folds flat (to about half an inch) when not in use, so can go on the shelf beside the books!I'm scared to say it's lightweight, as you'll think "flimsy", but it's not heavy and not flimsy either.I'm very pleased with it, it's exactly what I wanted, and comes in a range of both bright and pastel colours. 😁Nobody paid me to say this! 🤣 I just really like it.

Mostly good but a few paperback niggles
Overall this is a strong small lightweight book stand which I use to prop open a paperback reading book whilst I am having lunch etc.My previous open had a plastic peg to hold each side open and especially with fat books it wasn't strong enough to do this and eventually the peg broke. This new one is much stronger and copes with fat books fine. The only niggle is that the strong spring bar that holds the pages covers a lot more text than the previous pegs so I have to juggle the book a bit to read the bottom of the page and it takes two hands to be able to pull the bar forward and turn the page and close the bar again. I used to be able to just do this one handed with the pegs.Overall I am liking this gadget but it is probably better for cook books or reference books that you are not constantly turning pages on (and I am a fast reader)
