On receipt I noticed that the front face was not applied properly so that the function labels were all offset and not next to the correct buttons or display position. This also partially obscured the display itself making the watch pretty much useless. If this represents the quality control applied to this product I am not impressed.

The ACCUSPLIT A601X might feel cheap because of the lightweight but its performance is top notch. I've been using mine daily for about a week to time my walks and exercises. I bought it primarily because I was using a Casio Lineage watch to time those things. I don't wear my glasses on walks because I wear sunglasses instead and the small LCD display on my Casio was hard to read while walking. The ACCUSPLIT solved that problem and then some. I can read it at a quick glance unlike my Casio which took me several seconds to get a good look at it. Take a look at my picture. You can see how much larger the display on the ACCUSPLIT is. This stopwatch is also very easy to use. It's accurate and the buttons are responsive but not so responsive that you can accidentally push them. The buttons are very well designed. I've included a picture of the clock setting instructions as well. They are part of the paper lining. Not a separate pamphlet. Don't throw away the packaging until you find the clock setting instructions. They were easy to follow but I would have had a heck of a time without them. Great stopwatch at a very reasonable price. I'm glad I bought one.

These work perfect for what I use them for and I have 4 of them. I run a speed and agility class for younger kids. What I do, as I have different coaches help me and they learn so that they can pass it on or do things with their individual team in regards to speed and agility, is mark each one on the back with a number. So mine are numbered 1-4. If you have two people time the same person at the same starting and ending point, they both will get different numbers. So when I do initial timed sprints, a coach puts his name and his stopwatch number next on the page he lists the times for all the kids he timed runs for. At the end of say an 8 week session, the same coaches will use the same watches and the same distances etc. to time the kids a final time to measure and compare their improvement for linear speed from the beginning to the end of training. As I said, these work perfect, again I'm timing younger ages, so it's more training in and about mechanics than perfect technique and I'm not using gates or sophisticated timing tools for those ages, and these work perfectly for that.

When editing sound and video, as well as timing voice work, accuracy is paramount. I have found this easy to use stopwatch to provide digital accuracy every time I use it in the studio. It is often right on with the editing program counters--that is good enough for me. I like the hi visibility color if I forget and set it down somewhere because I can spot it again pretty quickly. I frequently just use the included neck lanyard. I have found that for recording the button to start and stop it is almost silent but not completely given our microphone sensitivity for most things. A clean two count and a gentle squeeze rather than a hard click usually solves most button issues. I would buy it again should I need another.

I am a 50 something trail hiker/runner. I have to use reading glasses for my phone, watch, etc. I HATE having to wear my glasses when I exercise. This is THE perfect interval timer. I can see the time without glasses AND it has optional mode for time. I was worried about the size. But, I wear child size gloves as an adult and this fits perfectly in my hand. I can't recommend this enough. If you are on the fence about this product I highly recommend it. It works great! I purchased in yellow and attach it with a clip to my hiking/trail/water pack.
