This is my favorite hot pot soup base. It has quality ingredients and I appreciate that. It is full of flavor and just the right amount of spice. It is easy to use. Just put it into your hot pot along with water. It its a bit more pricy than other soup bases, but it is worth it for the taste and quality of ingredients.

This is not a soup base for the WEAK! It has so much depth in the spice and flavor for a vegan soup base and tastes great. I find that the flavor is almost the same as any other famous non vegan hotpot if you use beef stock instead of water for the soup. I have used the better than buillon beef vegetarian stock along with this hotpot mix and the taste is just the best. The quality and flavor is perfect and one packet goes a long way.

This hotpot base was SO good. It is quite spicy, so if you don't like spice or have littles who are sensitive to quite spicy foods, then I would recommend diluting with stock more than you think you need to. I loved this, but it was too hot for one of the kiddos. Next time we made it, I just added a little to the "kid" side of the hot pot to give some flavor and they loved it!

Love spice. Love hot pot. This product was inedible and we used half of the recommended amount. My wife took a little taste and she had difficulty breathing. It was really scary. In addition to the spice, it was oily and the flavors were strange. Disappointing as I love their other products but this was tough even for those who like spice.

I was looking for a hotpot broth not just for cooking but tasty enough to eat with rice as well. This broth base is extremely oily and the taste is odd - not ideal for cooking meat and veggies and not yummy to drink. Disappointed :(

I used this in my zojirushi hot pot and it was just top notch. Very easy to use with a hood and spicy flavor. Tasted delicious with the different meat and vegetables. Had one bag of hot pot mix for four people but easily could have fed two more on the same hot pot. Delicious and well worth the money
