Edit: I was a fan, but 2 1/2 months after buying, these headphones just stopped working. They've been randomly dying for the last few days -- fully charged, they'd just stop turn themselves off and couldn't be turned back on for a half hour or so. Today they crapped out completely. My original review was five stars. Down to one star for poor manufacturing quality.Update: My wife's set also just stopped working. (I had bought one for her in white soon after buying my own.)Original review follows.==============================I use these headphones at the gym. Generally when I do cardio, I watch shows on Hulu or Netflix on my Galaxy Note II. The sound quality is outstanding. I'm used to earbuds in the gym, which all sound tinny and distant to me. These P311s sound cinematic.Other people mentioned disconnections, but I have not experienced that at all. My car's brand new receiver sometimes drops the connection to my phone, but these P311s have operated perfectly.Other people also mentioned problems with the fit. I'm a large man, and I wear glasses, and these fit me just fine. I wear them 30 minutes straight every day, and they remain comfortable.The padding is removable, so you can clean them without worrying about wrecking the electronics. But it takes some work to get the padding back on.I've had them just one week, so I can't speak to their durability.One negative: I don't like the power on/off operation. The on/off button is the same button as phone connect/disconnect AND Bluetooth discovery/pairing mode. The instructions say to press the button for three seconds to turn on the headphones and three seconds to turn them off. But it's closer to eight seconds to turn them off. Basically, make sure you're looking at the indicator lights when you're trying to turn them off. Otherwise you might accidentally leave them on.

I received a P311 headphone set as a gift from my son last Christmas, which I use for listening to music through my smartphone and for phone calls while driving or walking. (More recently I ordered another set for him.) Previously I was using the Sennheiser CX 300 II earbuds for music listening (highly recommended, and very inexpensive). The Artic P311s also sound great for music- adequate bass response even though the coupling against the ears is rather loose. Most important to me is that the headphones perform without breakup even after some fairly radical equalization via the phone music player and the phone itself The Adapt Sound feature on my Galaxy Note 3 provides a hearing test and automatic equalization of the audio output, and my Poweramp music player app has a full array of equalization presets. For most realistic sound levels I found I needed to jack up both bass and treble, but I try to listen at the lowest volume level that is enjoyable. (Allows one to listen for a longer time without fatigue - applicable to any kind of sound exposure.) One could say that my equalization amounts to a loudness control, like the ones you see on vintage home audio equipment for listening at low volume levels. The P311s also perform well as Bluetooth microphones for phone calls or verbal interactions with your phone It feels odd at first not to have to hold and talk into the phone, but I quickly got used to it. I've been using these headphones for over 6 months. They are reliable, not prone to breakage, and come with a zippered hard case to hold the headphones and charger cord. Though a wall charger is not provided, the cord will plug into any charging device with a USB port.

Okay, for starters, I'm not exactly a so-called audiophile but I Do appreciate music and good sounding speakers, etc. I just don't devote a crazy amount of my budget to it. So when I decided to buy a BT headset to finally make use of my Kindle's BT option, I did a lot of research looking for a great value. Enter the ARCTIC P311. They paired right away w no fuss to my Kindle Fire HD 8.9 and re-pairing is always a painless operation. Also, the build quality seems plenty sturdy and I find them very comfortable to wear (and I have a big noggin -- I wear a size 7-5/8 ballcap -- but that doesn't really even apply, despite what some reviewers apparently think.) and, to that point about comfort: I have to think some ppl who bought this do Not know how to wear them. These go around the back of the neck, not over the head! I saw more than one comment here saying "these are way too small ... bullt for a child ... etc) They must be trying to wear these like regular old style headphones, is all I can think. Heck, I even think they're fine when I'm lying down with head on pillow. Now on to the sound: these things ROCK! Plenty of volume and, dare I say it?, fidelity. Now, that said, I'm sure if i tried listening to a pair of $200+ headsets right after using these, I'd think a little less of the sound these produce. But, damn, for $30 or less, these things are really amazing. Another thing I love is the range. I've worn them all over my apt. going from room to room and the connection is always rock solid despite the walls separating me from my Kindle. Another thing is the battery life is stellar. I don't have an exact measurement of time to offer, but I can go many hours listening to music or podcasts before having to recharge. Oh, and as far as the blinking blue light, I guess some reviewers have found it annoying but it doesn't bother me. Besides, you can always put a little piece of black electrical tape over it or maybe paint it over with dark nail polish (lighter if yuo still wanna see the light but in more muted way. Guys, just have your S.O. help you there.) I'm not sure what else to comment on. The set I got was refurbished but you'd never know it. In fact, buying refurb electronics is not a bad idea, whether it's a computer or a small item like this. You get a better price and you know the unit has been gone over with a fine toothed comb so chances are very very slim there'll be a problem. Anyway, in conclusion, after reading multiple reviews of the other headsets available from AMZ in this price range, I'm so glad I went with this model. I will buy ARCTIC again. [NOTE: I haven't tried using the phone feature so cannot comment on how well that works. I will say that the button layout is dead simple to navigate. If I test this feature out I'll amend this review accordingly in the coming weeks.]

These are amazing. Battery last like 20 hours or something on a 4 hour charge. I used to hate how the fit because the head band would stick out like 3" off my neck. But they actually fit sung enough by just hanging on the ears so i kept them. Excellent sound for the price. I should get another one just for kicks.

Battery life is amazing. Sound might be a little flat but the price is right and not having to deal with cords is great. Worked well making calls as well so long as you're not in the wind.Definitely worth the price.

Easy to use, had no trouble pairing with Ipod, computer etc. Battery has long life. Sound quality is good.

Works great with Android 4.4.4 and 5.0.Could be slightly more comfortable on the ears.Sounds good. Battery lasts forever.

its not updated my friends... it does not works on android 4.4 and the later ones, windows 8.1 and later editions, ipad mini ipad air..i checked it. got a white colored one before and returned it. thought it was a defective piece.. ordered a black one.. and checked thoroughly and got the results.. manufactures has to highlight this update.. has to check its compatibility up to date.. but they didn't.. those who have a new version of laptops/android 4.0/windows 8.1 and later editions.. dont waste your time.. it wont be detected at all
