Simple enough, battery not included
Now I have what some people call a "man draw" in said draw there are many batteries, none of them worked in this. So I had to buy a pack of batteries, no drama. Now my draw is more complete. The device is really easy to use, just note you want to test your depth across the width of the tyre, not just one spot (you could have uneven wear) Aside from that, it's pretty reliable and the measurements matched my analogue unit.

Doesn’t work on delivery.
Uses a very specific battery and the item is NOT shipped with a battery. So frustrating.

Does come with battery
Bought 4 of these all came with a battery, it’s loose in the plastic packaging. Over all good product, does what it says

Sent it back
First off this does not come with a battery and you will struggle to get one off the shelf in a local shop. For this reason it was sent back as I have no inclination to drive 28 miles round trip to go and by one. Enough said!
