This is actually our third purchase of this squirrel. Years ago, my father saw one in a store and bought it to use as our “Christmas Vacation” tree squirrel. When I moved out, it came with me, so I bought another for them. And then my mother gave it to a little girl (family friend) that was visiting, so I had to replace it again. It’s a great size, super soft, super cute - I love him to pieces.

This was used, along with other stuffed critters, to appease a neighbor and stop her from feeding the local varmint community from her patio. She had no idea she was also providing food and shelter to field rats!
