The makeup box was awesome! I received a whole set up brushes that are high quality. The eye shadow colors in the palette were cute and vibrant. I also loved the eye and lip pencils which went on easily and didn't smear. I recommend this box. It was worth it!

Ok so first off I was kind of nervous to buy make up online that I had never tried before. I went into Macey's the other day and sampled a lot of expensive brands there and they were so nice feeling. The pigments were much better then the Drug Store brands and they were softer too. So I felt that if I wanted this type of quality, I was gonna have to pay an arm and a leg at some fancy store. So I came to amazon (my go to store for better prices) to see if I could find any deals. Well SHANY cosmetics showed up in my searches with high reviews and low prices. I checked out their site and thought it was worth a try. I was super excited when my set got here.PROS:All the colors were bright and shiny just like pictured. The eye-shadows were very velvety and super pigmented! I use a light primer and no setting spray and my eyes looked awesome all day. The brushes are such a new thing for me and I loved the fact there was a insert that told me which brushes were which and what to use them for! The bigger ones were super soft and fluffy and the smaller ones are soft yet firm enough to do the cool definitions I've been seeing everywhere. The lip-glosses are more of a test size but there are so many that it seems like the best way to get to try out so many cool colors. They are creamy and not too sticky and they blend great with lip liner. The oil blotting pads actually work too!CONS:The makeup was awesome, super reasonable price! Only con would be I have to wait till it gets here.

I have order one box before. It was amazing. I bought 2 more just to see if they would be different. They were very different from the first one. But these 2 were very similar to each other. 6 things were different in each box then the other 8 things were the same. I'm still very happy with what I got though.

Great quality and quantity of items with a good affordable price. The colors of eyeshadow are very diverse. Great for any look.

The media could not be loaded. I don't think this product even deserved one star. Perhaps my expectation was way too high and that's why my disappointment was insurmountable. I feel like I've been defrauded, lied to, disappointed and any negative feeling you can have. I received 1 lip pencil, 2 sponges (sufficient enough for a Barbie doll and not a actual human). The lip tray, would be sufficient if I had horizontal lines across my lips, and not full blooded natural lips enviable by lip injected women. I felt like I was punked or someone playing a cruel trick on me. Some of these meek, deficient in quantity products, I could've purchased in a brick and mortar establishment for perhaps 10% of what I paid for. I am extremely surprised by the quality control person at #Shany and do not recommend anyone to purchase this at all. So one lip pencil, 12 synthetic makeup brushes. Microscopic lip pallet and even eye shadow array in a. 2" by 4" in a laughable all in one miniscule case for which the dollar store would sell at 50 cents, 2 band aid size cosmetic sponge, 4 narrow and 1"" size "alleged" blending sponge (which by the way I couldn't hold with my fat fingers), should be considered petit larceny. These videos must have been photo shopped or augmented by the hubul telescope. Apologize I forgot to list the one tub of lip gel I received and one nail file is just a complete jole and fraud. #ShanyFraud, #ShanyJoke, #ShanyUnderDeliver, #ShanyShafted, #ShanyTheft, #ShanyMakeItRight. This fraudulent product was $49 and I would like the rest of the $47 you took from me.

My 2020 purchase had at least 2 times as many items as the 2024 box.From that standpoint, I have lowered my original rating from 5 stars (2020) to 3 stars (2024) because of the item quantity comparison. It could be that 2020 I had good luck and 2024 is more in line with what is “normal” so take that with a grain of salt.This box had the Glamor Girl makeup kit, a 14-piece rose gold brush set, the 12-piece mini lipgloss set, a lip pencil, a dual-ended eyeliner pencil, an eyeshadow pencil, a makeup sponge, a silver glitter nail polish, a set of pinkish false eyelashes and an eyelash curler.The items I remember from the 2020 box are the Shany Beauty Book, 14-piece rose gold brush set, 12-piece mini lip gloss set, 12-piece lip liner set, at LEAST 4-5 eyeshadow quads, Te Quiero 10-color eyeshadow palette, makeup sponge, black false eyelashes, eyelash curler, a sharpener plus multiple other items I have either used up by now or gave away because they weren’t my preference for colors.Positive notes:The makeup box had a coupon this year, and items were (still) packaged nicely. I did not experience damaged product like other people had mentioned, either in 2020 or 2024. Another perk is that I have experienced ZERO reactions to the makeup. I did have fun opening this box of random makeup.As far as the makeup itself, I am not a big makeup person so I cannot compare Shany to expensive brand names. The eyeshadows cover well and stays in place as far as I can tell, the brushes I still have haven’t fallen apart (some I threw because big rounded makeup brushes work great for chalk painting cabinets or smaller furniture!), and everything else works as expected.Overall, I am very happy with Shany as a brand and will be purchasing (other specific) Shany makeup sets as gifts for my nieces so I know exactly what is included. Truly, the only knock is my 2020 purchase was so good it made the 2024 one look less than stellar, when money-to-product wise the 2024 one was still worthwhile because of the coupon.
