A five star tweezing experience!
My uncle gifted these to my father some years ago, and although he has them hidden away in a special place so my sisters don't find them and lose them, I always go through the pains of seeking them out if I am in need of a particularly precise tweeze. The Silver Gripper tweezers are cheap, effective, and well-designed, provide a consistent and satisfying tweezing experience, and can even fit in your wallet for that emergency on-the-go tweeze (I've never done this, but hypothetically speaking, it is possible). The enclosure device provides excellent protection for the business end of the tool as well as a nice little ring that can be used for attachment purposes. There is also a satisfying click when the tweezers are inserted into the metallic cap. The fit is secure and removal of the tweezers is intuitive. These are an essential component in any BACKPACKER'S tool kit. I recommend this item to literally everyone, as having an effective set of tweezers at hand can be a life saver for that unexpected splinter.

Great tool to have on hand!
These are great little tweezers...they are little, however, so just be warned. But they have a sharp and strong point, are super light, and removed a stubborn splinter from my finger on the first try. Made in USA and a great tool to have on hand. Highly recommended!

Excellent dexterity for removing slivers and thorns
This may sound like a silly review, but I was blown-up by an antipersonnel mine in Vietnam many, many years ago, and I spent years afterwards digging thousands of small metal shards out of my skin as they worked their way up and out of the flesh to near the surface of the skin. I'm also a woodworker, so taken together, I've had lots of practical experience in difficult metal and wood sliver removal. You could find a better single tool out there for removing slivers than this one, but it would be some kind of professional instrument that would cost a dozen times what this tool costs. I like the fine, slightly sharpened point which, either alone or together with a needle, easily gets into the sliver cavity to chase the sliver down the path it came in, and to lift it up and extract it. I've used this model, or one similar to it, for many years and it's incomparably better than other crude instruments you might otherwise use, like eyebrow tweezers or the tweezers in your Swiss Army knife. They used to be readily available in woodworking stores years ago as you checked out at the register, but they seem to be hard to find now. I like the clip that comes with this model because it protects the tip, and it protects other things from the tip when you carry it in your pocket or first aid kit. It's easy to hold and manipulate with great dexterity. The tip grips the sliver securely during removal, and it's easily cleanable before and after use. You couldn't ask for a better instrument in a small package. These are always part of my outdoor first aid kit for removal of other nasties, like cactus spines broken off halfway down, bee stingers, and whatever else you might unexpectedly encounter in the boonies, a small fish hook being an example of what it wasn't designed for, but for which I've successfully used it. Other jobs it wasn't designed for, but at which it excels, are manipulation of the tiny screws for eyeglasses, and manipulation of small, thin, delicate objects like precisely placing stamps in a stamp book. I now have arthritis in my hands, and I find it easy to hold and use for gripping a variety of tiny things that my hands can no longer precisely manipulate without it.

Perfect keyring tweezers
Bought these to add to my keys. I like having edc stuff on me. And these tweezers are perfect. Take up no space on my keys and don't weigh anything. And now I always have a pair of tweezers with me. Which comes in handy at work as I am a cnc machinist and get metal slivers from time to time.

This product is GREAT, with one little exception ...
I really enjoy these tweezers. Found them years ago under the "Uncle Bill's" brand, made in Connecticut. These are so great we actually bought a bunch of these one year for handouts at trade shows, sticking our contact label on the plastic tube they came in. We got LOTS of great thanks and comments on them.I am a woodworker and home "handyman" (just at home) and use these for lots more things than slivers. They are so "accurate" in maintaining their points in line, they never miss! Now, the reason I gave this latest purchase these only 4 stars was the new(?) packaging. They came as pictured on a stainless "tab" to put on a key ring, and the slot keeps the tweezers closed. The PROBLEM that I had was getting the tweezers out of the tab ... took a LOT to "work" them out, patience, pliers, and more patience. I threw away the tab.I longed for the old packaging where they came in a small plastic "test tube" with a screw top. Easy to get out, and the tube kept them easy to find in a toolbox, drawer, etc. Will still be ordering these great tweezers, sometimes just as a small gift, but will look further to see if anyone still packages them in the tube.

Convenient Tweezing!
Easy to keep track of and add to your key ring. I love never having to hunt for tweezers. The tip is micro, so it may be difficult to use if you’re not steady.

Ratings are justified
So much more handier than I thought it would be!

They Work, Handy to Carry, Made in my State
Well made. Very sharp but safe. Got almost invisible splinter out quickly. Normally would have to dig out a pound of flesh to remove with regular tweezers & needle.
