This lace clip works great; it is strong and reliable. I have been using it for awhile and still holding my laces well. My grandson noticed them and I gave him a pair which he brought to his job at a shoe store to help an older lady customer that can’t bend over to tie her shoes easily. Very strong and perfect for shoelaces

I'm using these things to hold the string suspending my grow lights in my mini-greenhouse, so of course I wanted to be sure they would have a good grip to not let the string slip. Granted, my grow lights aren't big (2 feet long, about a foot wide), so they're not real heavy, but still, you don't want your lights falling down on top of your delicate little seedlings. I'm using a 1/16" (about) string with a silky finish, doubled over, so by the time I get both ends of the loop that holds the light's bracket through the opening, there's about 1/4" of string going through there. Other than feeling like I didn't have quite enough hands to hold the toggle open and hold both ends of the string (with the light already suspended from it, of course), the size of the opening in the toggle made it quite easy to get all 4 strands through. And the grip holds all 4 strands quite firmly. I was afraid it might slip because of the silky texture of the string, but so far, no problems! And it's so easy to adjust the height of my lights above my seedlings with these toggles. I'm very glad I thought of this, and these work great for this purpose.

Hold, build quality and grip are really good

This item does the job, however I believe that the grip of the drawstrings could have been a little bit more coarse. But I guess it's okay for the value of the money.
