A bit loud, but great tactility and smoothness
For that price? These Lavender Purples are great. I've just built my first mechanical keyboard after using Kailh Browns in a pre-built for two years and these purples just so much smoother and more tactile. I also wanted a more light switch and these (after many hours of research) seem to be exactly what I wanted. For a beginner and budget-friendly build - highly recommended. Thanks Akko! Edit: after fumbling with them for a bit, I noticed a bit of spring ping, so I lubed them. Bag-lubed the springs and then the sides of the housings and stems. I highly recommend lubing them for even more smoothness and clearer/rounder sound.

Nice
Was gonna go for Boba U4Ts, since I prefer heavy tactiles. These are slightly lighter, significantly cheaper (accounting for shipping costs from 3rd party websites), and now I think I prefer these over U4Ts, anyway. An important consideration is that it will make white LEDs appear purple, but for me, this is a non issue, as I don't run LEDs anyway. Highly reccomended for U4T enjoyers

Great tactile switches
Really happy with these switches. They're great value, feel great to type with, look great. Highly recommend these if you're looking for a new tactile switch.

Very good item
Great item for the cheap price and really quite a your keyboard. I used this on a rk61 with blue switches originally and changed over to the lavender switches and they sound significantly better.

Very thocky key switches.
The switches that came with my keyboard were very clicky. So I picked these up and they sound like a dream. Just keep in mind, you will likely need at least two packs of these to do a full keyboard key swap. Check the video for a comparison between these and some more clicky switches that come standard with a lot of keyboards these days. Hope it helps

the switches are perfect if you want a budget friendly yet high quality switch also the sound of the switches are the best part of the entire thing as it really sells the item also it is a perfect tactile switch

The switches are awesome! They're very smooth, and the tactile feeling is right at the start of the key press. Coming from the Cherry MX-Clear it's such an upgrade in every way. The smoothness (no more scratching key presses) and the "thocking" sound is on point. The lightness of the key presses are very satisfying and the tactile "bump" right at the start of the key press just feels right. My keyboard is a Ducky One 3 TKL with zero mods, so all the "thocking" is just from these switches. The only if not, is that the RGB in my case is weaker due to the housing being purple and not clear like the MX-Clear I replaced, but it still looks great!
