In contrast, the main zip on this one broke away from the fabric after less than a year and I just put some stitches in and lived with it being weaker in that area; now it's broken yet again in a different area, and worse. Luckily this was immediately before rather than during a big international trip, so I had to repack into a different bag. I'm going to get it repaired and hopefully strengthened locally, but I'm very disappointed and in the meantime left without a backpack, which I use every day. Edit 2: even after fixing, it repeatedly breaks. This bag has caused so much annoyance it's ridiculous. I bet most of the high-star reviews are from people who haven't had it long. Original post: It was finally time to replace my posh backpack used daily for the past 6ish years. This definitely does it justice! The pockets are accessible and perfectly-sized. The main pocket can fit an absolute ton of stuff in, and being able to open it all the way out is so useful. The backpack is also so light! I thought my last one was super light so I was worried this was going to be heavy - instead it's barely more than a feather. Only additional thing I'd ask for is a water bottle holder (which I often use for umbrellas as well). Review: This is my second purchase of this backpack. It's outstanding with a very large number of pockets to microorganize my possessions. Over several years I did have a zipper fail, which led me to purchase the new bag. Fairly sure that the zipper failed due to a lot of rough handling and not an issue with manufacturing. This is an outstanding bag, and it will serve you for a long time.

I am 6-2 men. This is perfect slim backpack. I have inside on day to day carry 16 inch Dell laptop, medium size umbrella, bose headphones, power bank, glasses, keys. It would fit iPad as well, but I don't carry one.
