When I got the package two of them were upside down do what I did is take apart the tuner and put it back together with the key upside down, I hope this helps

Not to bad, though, leaving the bushings that are already in the bass is a good idea. The bushings that came with the tune pegs were a little tight. It was a hassle getting the peg to go through.

These fir perfectly into the original footprint / screw holes on my 1997 Gibson SG Bass. Wonderfuly tight tolerances (actually had to enlarge two bushings VERY slightly to insert the tuners, but that is only because the gold plating is pretty thick), beefy and they do the job. Simply UNBEATABLE for the money!

The items are great quality for the price. I couldn't use them as I originally planned but that was my fault. The mounting plates are just a little too wide for the guitar that I am working on. I am sure that I will be using them on my next project.

These are really great was haveing trouble staying in tune these solved the problem.One thing I put on a P bass had to take two a part and put clove on top easy to do,Some complained about peg tight in bushing a found them perfect, great valve !!!!An old road dog;;
