What psi does this machine exert on the material between the rollers?

No one can answer this PSI but it good enough to crush our huge and juicy green sugar that we grow for 3 years.

Does this ship in a wooden box like some of the others? If so is it also inside a cardboard box? I want to check in as luggage.

Mine came in a cardboard box. I think the base was wood. It is quite heavy.

Does this work for sorghum as well?

This machine is for sugarcane juice or something that is similar to sugarcane. Sorghum will get stuck and to messy to clean up since it really hard to clean the inside of this type of machine.

what is the brass part

The brass part connects to the tray that is receiving juice. It is a faucet. I don't like the design of a faucet in the moving tray which is not attached to the machine. The tray just sits there; when you are trying to turn on the faucet to let juice come out, the tray moves. Then, if you want to take the tray and dump the juice to a container, the faucet becomes a hindrance. I am going to find a flat tray to replace it.
