Great Length & Quality
This was exactly what I needed. When I work I like to use my headphones and this extension helps me to connect them to my studio Mac that is hidden under the desk. The length is perfect. Cable thickness is perfect and feels sturdy with a nice looking pattern. It functions exactly what it needs to do.

Great wire.
I love the actual cables. They're slightly heavy and hang straight—no kinks or persistent bends that won't come out and cause tangles. The nylon binding is also slippery, something else eliminates tangles.

A bit stiff and heavy, but works good.
This cord seems fairly high quality, but the cord itself is a bit stuff. It's not like super flexible and doesn't like to lay flat, it kinda has a way of maintaining its shape leading to loops and stuff. The material of the cord is also a bit heavy, so it tends to drag whatever its plugged into down unless you gather up some of it and set it on something so that there's enough weight to prevent it from moving.Still, overall it uses nice materials, feels well made, and works good. I just wish it was a little more flexible and lighter, but then it probably wouldn't be as durable, so it's all a tradeoff.

Syncwire Headphone Extension Cable: The Unsung Hero of Couch Potatoes
Ladies and gentlemen, gather 'round and let me tell you about the Syncwire Headphone Extension Cable – the unsung hero of lazy Sundays and Netflix marathons. At a glorious 6 feet, this cable is like a magic carpet ride for your ears, giving you the freedom to move from your couch to your fridge without missing a beat of your favorite tune or podcast.Let's start with the basics. This bad boy has Hi-Fi sound, a gold-plated jack, and a TRS connection that ensures you get nothing but the clearest, crispest audio. It's like having a tiny concert in your ears – without the overpriced drinks and sweaty crowds. And the nylon-braided cable? It's tougher than a $2 steak. I’ve yanked, tugged, and practically played jump rope with it, and it still looks brand new.But let’s get to the real meat of this story. This extension cable has single-handedly saved my marriage. My partner can now binge-watch their true crime series in peace while I blast my 80s rock anthems without causing a domestic disturbance. It's a relationship saver! And oh, the gold-plated jack! It's like having a little piece of royalty in your audio setup. Every time I plug it in, I half expect a fanfare to start playing. The connection is so smooth, it’s almost seductive. One small quirk: it’s so long, you might find yourself tripping over it if you get too enthusiastic about your newfound mobility. I once tripped over it while trying to do the moonwalk (thanks, Michael Jackson), but hey, that’s user error, not the cable's fault.Bottom line: The Syncwire Headphone Extension Cable is an absolute must-have. It's durable, sounds great, and has probably saved a few relationships along the way. If you’re looking to extend your audio freedom and bring some gold-plated bling to your setup, look no further. This cable is the real MVP!

For those who use the Apple EarPods Headphones with Built-in Remote and mic
I specifically use the Apple EarPods Headphones with 3.5mm Plug, Wired Ear Buds with Built-in Remote to Control Music, Phone Calls, and Volume because they're cheaper and the sound quality is excellent. I have tried numerous headphone extension cables and I always got that humming noise due to my earphones having a built-in microphone. This Syncwire Headphone Extension Cable - 6FT [Hi-Fi Sound][Gold Plated Jack][TRS] is the very first that actually doesn't hum. In fact the audio is so perfect and clear. Now, I've heard that this particular cable cuts sound by 50% but I've been using this extension for the 4k insignia tv that amazon recently had on sale and I noticed no drop in sound. I only plug this into the tv so I don't know about other devices. I've searched these reviews and none of them ever gave me a straight answer so I'm here to say YES the Syncwire Headphone Extension Cable - 6FT [Hi-Fi Sound][Gold Plated Jack][TRS] is compatible with Apple EarPods Headphones. The mic will not work but only because that 3rd wire inside the cord doesn't exist. There are just two. Screw talking during the movie WHO NEEDS THE MIC! Thank you very much!

Great Headphone Cable, but NOT for Ones with a Microphone!
This is a great extension cable for headphones or speakers. Nice heavy cable, lays flat on the floor and good sound quality. HOWEVER, it will NOT work for headphones with a microphone!! I got this cable to add to my headset that I use for conference calls and at first I thought there was something wrong with my new headphones, but after a bit of troubleshooting I discovered it was the cable that wasn't working with my mic. The incoming sound was fine but no one could hear me. After looking at the male jack, I found that this cable only has 2 black lines that go around it while my headphone set has 3 black lines. Then I went back to this listing and there is one sentence buried in the description a couple of paragraphs down that mentions it will not work for microphones. This should have been stated in the second or third sentence! Being as ~so~ many headphones now-a-days have mics, I don't know why they don't just make them compatible with mics as a default...so I had to go find some other company that makes an extension cable that are compatible with microphones instead to work for my headset. So, if you need an extension cable for just speakers, this is a great cable. However, if you need one for mics, look elsewhere as these won't work. :-S I still give the product itself 5 stars...the product description just needs to be better laid out for clarity.
