Optimate 6 Select - 12V 6A, TM-371, 9-Step Gold Series Battery Saving Charger & maintainer

I had a battery for 2 years untouched laying in one of my cars. Tried 2 other chargers. They wouldn't charge it. Tried the optimate 6 . It worked on that battery for over 72 hours. the battery worked on the car starting it 5 times. I left the battery and car untouched for 5 days. I tried to start the car on day 6 and it started right up. If I didn't see it for myself i wouldn't have believed it. I am amazed. I'm 78 years old and play with old cars all the time. I'm sold on this charger. It's going to save me a lot of money. HAPPY, HAPPY<HAPPY!

Good product, does what is mentioned in the description

The item seems to work fine, with one exception. My BMW has a DIN port that is electronically controlled to shut off when the bike turns off, with one exception. If the DIN port detects power coming IN to it, it will stay on nd the bike turns off the electronic display and running lights. With an old school charger, this works as designed. With this charger, the DIN port gets shut off as though the charger is not sending power. It may be in a diagnosis mode and therefore not sending power.

I had three “smart chargers” that if the battery was actually low< they would detect the battery and therefore wouldn’t charge. This charger IS NOT one of those useless chargers, This is actually what I replaced those useless chargers with. This charger works great, even on batteries that are very depleted. Highly recommend

Was not new .open box when received

The OptiMate 6 charger is easy to use and understand what it is doing. I purchased their OptiMate 4 version 13 years ago and it is still running like a champ. I bought the OptiMate 6 charger for our cars, where the OptiMate 4 was purchased for our ATV and worked well on cars, but the OptiMate 6 can charge cars faster. I only trust the Tecmate OptiMate chargers especially when it comes to connecting them to our vehicles.

It's basically a top line product. Handles a battery for any product a regular homeowner would have on hand ie car (except E vehicle batteries), motorcycle, boat, quad. It has high level functions to keep a battery healthier and longer.

Didnt revive my battery even after a week but it does work as intended on properly maintained batteries.

utilise ce charger intéligent avec batterie odyssey qui recommende un voltage 14.7 , au-lieu de 14.3 dans les standard dans chargeur.fais la job a 6 amp , mais si pas assey vite ya le model a 10 amp mais beaucoup plus chere. :-))
