I bought this cane in blue just over a year ago after tripping on some stairs on our back porch and hurting myself. I keep this cane in my car so if I go somewhere and feel a little achy or unstable, I can use this to walk. It is very lightweight; I tried the smaller rubber foot, but find I prefer the larger foot on the cane.Only fault I can find with this cane is that it makes a small, hollow "tick" sound when I walk with it. It's the inside piece hitting the top piece. It's not very loud, but I find it slightly annoying. I'm a medium speed walker.I like the color; it is vibrant and seems to be durable; after a year, I see no scrapes, scuffs or dents. The foam handle cover is soft; I wonder about how long it may last. I only clean it with some Lysol spray periodically.

Is too long for me to use it safely Evan at its shortest length. Cane is a flat red color and quite a good shade and is strong. My wife is using it in the home and she likes it very much.

I am using a cane now because the orthopedist put a steroid injection into hip joint and infected and destroyed it. I have a temporary joint replacement but because my legs are unequal length I need to use a cane until I get a permanent hip.The straight cane I was using was putting too much pressure on my shoulder and causing pain. This curved design takes some of the impact off my shoulder when I hold it so the bend in the cane faces my back.It is an atrractive purple color and very sturdy. It can take alternate tips. I got one with a spring to further lessen the impact on my shoulder.
