VTech KidiZoom Camera Pix Plus - Pink

Nice camera for a young child! Takes real (albeit blurry) photos and videos. Also has fun games the kids love to play built in to the camera itself.

I got the VTech KidiZoom Camera in blue for my 3-year-old niece, and he loves it. It’s easy for little hands to hold and use, and the camera is tough enough to handle a few drops. The pictures are fun, and there are lots of cute effects and frames kids can add. It also has silly games that keep him entertained. It’s a great way to get young kids excited about taking pictures and being creative. Definitely a fun and thoughtful gift for toddlers.

This camera is cute. We gave it to my four year old for his birthday and he LOVES it! The picture quality isn’t the greatest. There’s also a noticeable delay from when you press the button to take the picture to when it actually takes it. So we had to teach my four year old to push the button and then keep it still for a second or two afterwards - otherwise you just get blurry pictures. You can’t charge the camera - you have to use batteries - so if your kid likes it as much as ours does then you might want to buy stock in Duracell. This is why the overall value isn’t the best investment. It comes with games on there too to play which are so cute. Overall it’s good for a four year old.

Wow the amount of joy that camera has brought my 6-year-old is incredible. Cute color, size and shape. Easy to operate, takes standard AA batteries, super easy to transfer pictures and videos to her Chromebook. It's got lots of features like zoom, special effects, games and parental controls that allow to control when and what she can use on the camera. We took it with us on an unhurried kiddie hike where she was allowed to take as many pics as she wanted and she had an absolute blast. A couple of downsides: - no flash - the pictures don't have the best contrast especially at night. But for the price and the audience, this is a great purchase. Recommended.

Update: Camera did last a while, but the sound and quality stopped working well after a year or so. It started making these weird buzzing noise when video recording. Was super disappointed because this is my son's favorite, but it is unusable now. I am usually pretty happy with the longevity of V-Tech toys, but this one didn't last as long as we had hoped. If you are buying this camera because you want your kid to take high quality images (don't), but if you are buying this for your picture-taking loving kid to have fun and take okay photos and just enjoy, then 100% buy it. This thing was made in a very smart way for durability. The big handles on each side protect the screen and it still works fine. The cameras also have little filters and games that are fun, but I also appreciate that you can turn the games off. I appreciate that you can adjust the volume of the shutter and what not too. All in all, very happy with the purchase.

6 year old daughter absolutely loves it. It's tough and safe for outside trips, in case it gets bumped or dropped.

Got one for our son for his 3rd birthday. He carries it everywhere he goes. One gripe is that it won’t read higher speed micro SD cards, but the correct ones aren’t that expensive. The menus take a bit of thinking to navigate, but he was a whiz on day 2. I do enjoy that he gets to think his way through menus to find things, as it will help him later in life. The amount of joy this has brought my son is worth every penny.
