Perfect part for my washer

Replaced broken washer pump with loose impeller
2010 Kenmore vertical modular washer stopped draining water. Could hear the pump spinning without pumping water out. This replacement pump fit perfectly and fixed the problem. Photo of bottom of washer with washer pump removed. Rubber seal on pump goes into plastic opening with 6 pointed star. pump outlet goes into drain hose secured by spring clamp. Can view a YT video "How to Replace the Drain Pump on a Kenmore Vertical Modular Washer (VMW)" After replacing the pump was able to repair the old pump by drying the impeller and filling it with hot melt glue before pressing back on the motor but can't say how long this might work.

Great part.
Honestly, I ended up returning this product but not because it wasn't a good product, it just wasn't a great fit. However it was built nicely, it was very simple to understand how to install it. Just wasn't the one that was for my machine.

Works Great!
My Maytag Commercial washer decided it didn’t want to drain anymore, and from the sounds it was making I figured the pump was dead. The factory whirlpool version of this was $120, so I took a shot on this. Installation was simply with only a hose to reattach, a cable to plug in, and three screws. I’m pleased, and I’ll update this review should it go awry.
