Refreshing alternative to equally great JĀSÖN mint versions. Healthy ingredients, no animal testing.
I have used JĀSÖN toothpastes for the past several years, and have appreciated their natural and humane approach. Their company does not do animal testing on their products, and they don't use preservatives, or artificial colors or sweeteners--and do use healthful natural ingredients. I've used several types of their toothpaste, and my current favorite is their tea tree oil and cinnamon ... a refreshing alternative to their equally great mint versions.

Preferred brand
Fluoride free toothpaste. Pleasant, mild taste, not overpowering. Purchased multiple times. Recommend as long as price kept reasonable. Refuse to pay outlandish, inflated prices for anything. Not always available due to ?possible supply chain issues.

Taste is refreshing
Doesn't totally remove plaque, but maybe it just needs more time...

My New Holy Grail Toothpaste
My husband and I are addicted to this toothpaste, and as soon as we run out we will be re-purchasing it. We are both surprised by this as neither of us liked it the first time we used it. We initially thought that the aftertaste was too bitter, and that we would never get used to it. But we didn't want to waste it, so we kept using it, and guess what? This stuff is amazing. It completely removed all of our tartar--ALL of it. Our teeth are demonstrably whiter and smoother (for lack of a better word), because when we run our tongues over our teeth you can just feel that all of that gritty build-up is gone. Also, the toothpaste lathers/foams extremely well which is such a pleasure that we find ourselves brushing each time for over twice the amount of time that we normally take, and we also find ourselves brushing more often. I have just ordered the mouthwash in this same line, and after we use it for a week or so, I will post a review on that as well. JASON nailed it on this toothpaste though--well done! **I have a dental check-up in November, and I will be interested to see what my dentist says about my lack of tartar build-up.

The best toothpaste yet!
There are a lot of options for more natural choices on toothpastes these days so I have actually had a chance to try quite a few (everything from "tooth powders' to gels to aromatherapy pastes).Bottom line - While I still occasionally try other brands or even other options from JASON, this it the only one that I continue to buy again and again. It's combination of mint, tea tree and clove does and excellent job of ensuring that your mouth feels CLEAN and not chemically sweet with a hint of freshness like other well know toothpaste brands. It is also in the same paste formula that you would expect from the traditional toothpastes, so when you have company stay they are not weirded out by you choice of oral hygiene products. Most of JASON and TOMS toothpastes I have been impressed with but this one is the best. The only drawback is that you only get 4.2oz when you get the paste vs. the Flouride Gel (which is 6oz). I think that kinda stinks since I am not a fan of flouridation in my water or my oral hygiene products. What gives? I can only guess that has something to do with a higher cost on ingredients for the pastes vs. the gels?Other worthy options of JASON toothpastes are the Powersmile and Sea Fresh. The NutriSmile works good too but some people love the orange/clove and some really don't care for it.Overall, the HealthyMouth is the best one out there.

Love the Taste
This toothpaste tastes good. I've had other Jason toothpastes that were really strong and unpleasant.

Why I'm buying more of this toothpaste:
So, I wanted a more natural toothpaste without sulfates, fluoride, etc. and I was looking for something akin to the clove toothpaste we had during a year in India. Tried this one and am back to buy more. First, the paste has the substantial feel I like (it's a texture thing). A small amount on the brush goes a looooong way, since it foams during brushing. The taste is very fresh with the spice of cinnamon to wake up mouth but not painfully strong, aloe is soothing. My biggest comment to add to the positive reviews has to do with my own dental health and gum issues. Tea tree oil is, apparently, known for antimicrobial and antiseptic activity. Here's the TMI: one of my root-canaled teeth broke in half Nov. 2012 leaving a crater under the gum line. Yes, I immediately had dentist check it out. But after that, opting not to have the remaining tooth surgically removed just to be replaced with an implant screwed into jaw, I've had no trouble or infection. I do believe I can thank the tea tree oil in this toothpaste for the nice recovery of the potentially sensitive area. Listerine might have done the same, but burns my gums and probably wouldn't have felt fabulous on a mouth wound. So, I'm completely happy with this toothpaste for ingredients, non-ingredients, taste, texture, and activity.

Best toothpaste!
Reviewing Tea Tree Oil and Cinnamon toothpaste and Cinnamon and Clove mouthwash together, as anyone interested should use/buy both. The mouthwash is probably more impressive though (small story):My wife had a swollen gum above wisdom tooth in jaw. Skin was twisted a bit like a balloon knot and it hurt. She went to my dentist who immediately said she needed wisdom teeth pulled. After that she saw the oral surgeon for a consult. He said that the wisdom teeth needed to be removed, and also that there was likely an infection that required antibiotics. My wife hates anything medically-related, so I told her to use these products (mouthwash twice a day at least) since clove and tea tree are both excellent for oral hygiene. After about 5 days the gum was not swollen, there was no pain, and everything was back to normal. This was almost two months ago and she has had no pain or recurrence and still has her wisdom teeth :)
