Xage 9 Pieces Roll Pin Punch Set - Tool Kit for Jewelers/Gunsmith/Watch Makers/Repairs and Crafts with 1 Double faced mallet

This is a pretty good set of punch tools with a bonus mallet. I saw this because the punch pins all appear to be decent quality. I used the 3/32" to disassemble a Glock pistol and whole set was just a little more expensive than a single tool marketed for firearms use. The pins themselves are well machined and all were dead-on in width. They punch leather, cardboard, aluminum sheets, etc. without issue.The mallet itself is OK. The grip was not perfectly aligned so if you're not aware of this you could potentially strike off-center. It also has some bare spots on the head which could potentially rust more easily than the other portions. For this reason, I consider it a set of punch tools with a bonus hammer.Overall I'm satisfied with his set.

Unfortunately, I have to agree with the others who rated one star. Two of the smaller punches appeared to be bent on arrival. Not trusting my old eyes I tried them on a less than challenging weapons pin removal. First "tap" they bent.Considering the high ratings others have given I may have gotten a set that missed the hardening process.An additional observation is that the pictures show gleaming, sturdy appearing pins. What I received were quite different. Consequently, I cannot recommend.

I bought these for working on AR15s and other guns. The variety of punches has allowed me to drift out any roll pins that I've come across so far. I'm not a professional gunsmith or armorer but I do more than most in this regard. I'm really glad I have these in my toolbox.

This product worked well for me and I didn't have any issues with it. If you plan to do a lot of work daily with the punch set then you may run into issues, but if you are just doing some standard procedures every once and a while then this will work just fine.

These Roll Pin Punch really came in handed when I had to do some work upgrading my handguns that I own. They are very safe in removing and installing the roll pins without crushing the head of the roll pins. I' m very happy with the purchase.

Probably OK I have not had a chance to need them yet, this review is premature. It is not like a pan that can be used immediately, these are purpose needed gun smith tools. I have no gun to work on yet.
