SVS should have included this with my $1,100 sub. But it's a quality cable - regardless.
Well-made cable. It's not copper clad aluminum (CCA) garbage like the EMK one I bought last week. (Item B0B2HWXN8T.) This cable actually made an audible difference in the subwoofer compared to that one, too. (I didn't expect that.) This was the right decision.I AM subtracting one star, however. It has nothing to do with the cable itself. I'm actually rather upset that I had to buy one in the first place. I bought the SVS PB-2000 subwoofer. I paid $1,100 for it. That is no small price tag and you'd think that for that kind of money that they would have included this cable with it. I don't think that to be an unreasonable expectation because I don't appreciate paying $35 for a cable that didn't take even $5 to manufacture. Especially when I'm already paying that much for the subwoofer as it is.I'd really appreciate if SVS gave this feedback serious consideration.

Reduced hum in my vacuum tube system
These cables are listed as subwoofer cables however I used two as an equipment interconnect. I have a tube based system: phono stage, preamp and amplifier. I have chasing a hum I was getting at mid volume. I tried the usual. Checked for ground loop. Shielded my preamp transformer. Tested all my tubes. All good. I found the cable between my preamp and amp was the culprit. A Good quality cable too…. I replaced it with this cable set and hum went away virtually no hum at 85% plus gain. Probably RF or emi. I am pleased with these cables. The build quality is solid and clearly the shielding is next level over my last interconnect. Nothing worse than tube equipment with hum!

Cleanest signal transfer
I had been using Blue Jeans LC-1 interconnects (1 meter) between my Cambridge Audio CD-550 cd player and my NAD 326BEE integrated amp for about 7 years (going out to PSB B6 bookshelf speakers). Being an audio enthusiast (unfortunately on a much tighter budget than in the past - I lost to major flooding a Bryston 4B power amp, Forte pre-amp, Aragon 47k phono preamp, vpi jr turntable, Magnepan MG IIb speakers, Cardas speaker cables and Straightwire Virtuoso interconnects. I decided to do a cable swap from the BJ LC1 (which I found on the warm side with very extended bass but somewhat veiled highs and not the most revealing of inner details). I listen to a lot of classic rock, soft rock, folk, country & jazz. I have a few key albums (two of which I can't recommend highly enough are Mark Knopfler's "Tracker" & Emmylou Harris "All I Intended to Be") that I use when doing critical listening. I won't mention the two other cables I tried out before landing on the SVS cable. Both of the other two cables gave much better highs but were rather weak in the bass (maybe I was just very used to the bj lc-1 bass). Anyway, if you've read this far, thank you. I want to say that the SVS cable covers ALL areas of the tonal range equally well with gobs of detail and imaging/soundstage. The SVS cable is to my ears simply sending the signal through with no "voice" of its own allowing my components to reveal their exact nature. I know there is the "Great Cable Debate" that has been going on forever but in my case, I've listened to my musical library on my current system for over a decade and to my ears I can hear a difference between cables.I am now content to leave the system alone (unless I come into some large sum of money so I can do some speaker, amp and source upgrades). Bottom line, if you're on a budget, give the SVS cable a try!

No more hum!
The last cable I used cause a slight hum/rumble in my subs. Purchased two of the longest cables they had (around 50’ per cable) to run to two subs on the opposite side of the room from the receiver. The low, rumble sound is gone and they work great!
