Amazing Build Quality!
Trail Mix Belt, where have you been all of my life? Seriously, this is one of the greatest belts I have ever used. I have been through a half dozen of these before I found the Nathan offering. They usually get returned because they move all over the place while running. Nathan's design is flawless. It stays exactly where you want it to stay. The belt can be adjusted to fit any body shape. If there is any extra belt slack, the belt has a velcro wrap to secure the loose fabric. The belt has two 10oz bottles of fluid. I wish the belts held larger bottles, but it's okay. The only time I use my belt is during training runs for marathons. The center pouch is big enough to store 14 GU energy gel packets or one 8oz water bottle - for sizing reference. There is also a front mesh pouch, where the Nathan logo is that allows other items. I usually put some moleskin, bandaids and an extra pair of socks in that part. During a marathon, I will not run with this belt because there are aid stations every two miles. This belt was invaluable for me when I completed a 50K (31.06 miles) run in the woods of Arkansas. Aid stations are every six miles for the ultras. While they stock you up with food and fluids, you are on your own until you reach aid. I would suck all 20 ounces down between the stations and I had plenty of GU gels to keep me fueled up. The belt was worn for over 8 hours that day, and I forgot it was there half of the time. The final part I love about the belt may be the best part. On the front of the belt, there are two bungee cords. These are there so you can secure items you don't want to wear any longer during your run. I was able to securely hold my gloves and beanie and keep going. The cords are big enough and tight enough to put an extra pair of my Vibram Five Fingers on my hips, should I need it. Definitely worth the investment!

Works great, holds cell phone and more!
I really really like how this belt holds my cell phone (galaxy s8 with a case), my car keys, and a small snack and still zips closed. I've found I can even keep a small washcloth in the elastics along the front where energy chews would normally be kept, and believe you could secure gloves there if needed. Added that the bottles are of good quality, and the pouches for the bottles hold other Nathan bottles and this belt is great for long runs. I've now worn it for several 10+ mile runs in Missouri heat, and it doesn't bounce, doesn't come loose, and holds everything I need it to. I do wish it was washable, since the back of the pouch does get sweaty, but nothing is perfect.

Great, but may move around for those with smaller waists
I love the hydration belt. It stores everything I need when I go on short runs (keys, phone, cash) and fits snugly. However, there is a tendency for the belt to bounce while running when there is a lot of water in the bottles. My waist measurement is 27 inches, and the bouncing is not so uncomfortable, but if you have similar measurements, keep in mind that the belt may bounce when the bottles are completely filled. I do like the fact that the bottles stay put within the bottle holsters, however, the bouncing sometimes causes the belt to move around. In order to combat this, I've used the elastics around the belt to try to tighten the area and sometimes I'll wrap a cloth bag around one of the sides to make the belt tighter. I've had zero problems with the bottles leaking. The pocket is just large enough for me to fit a Nexus 5 (which is a pretty large phone) without a case.

Excellent Running Belt
I used the old version of this for 5+ years and thousands of miles of running and racing. I use it every single run and clock 25-35 miles a week. It has taken me to a 1:29 half marathon finish and to the national championships in triathlon. I have never had a single issue with the build quality or materials used here. I always have a small towel secured to the side bungees and in the winter I strap quite a variety of clothing to the belt depending on run length and expected weather. I also always have a poncho and mylar blanket as well as a package of blocks and my phone. I have never had a bungee or clasp failure nor has a bottle holster broken or failed in any way. I cannot stress enough how good this belt is. 20 oz of water is plenty and I can mix stuff into one bottle and still have clean water in the other. I will keep buying this belt as long as I need one. The ONLY reason I replaced my 5+ year old version of this belt was because I would leave the zipper unzipped in the exact same spot after every run. Being a heavy sweater, the zipper accumulated sweat and became too corroded to use. This has happened on every single item with a zipper I use, so no knock on Nathan for this. Every single pair of shorts I own that has a butt zipper also has the same thing happen, and they even get washed after each run. If I was better about washing the belt as manufacturer recommends I wouldn't be writing this review as I would still be using my old belt.

This is a very comfortable hydration belt. When adjusted properly there is very little bounce. There is enough water for medium-long runs, as well a good size pouch for mobile, keys and a couple of gels

Did a lot of research about a water bottle carrier for running and this was in top ten. I went for this as reviews said it did not bounce and had a good size zipped pouch. I can fit in a iPhone 6 in a slim case, keys, money, gloves, tissue and lucozade energy tabs and there was still room. It has bungee straps on sides at front so that you can tuck in a jacket, t-shirt or gloves. It also has another tear open pocket at front which would be handy for gels or tissue. Wore it at weekend on a 7 mile run and was really pleased. It was very comfortable to wear. Seems like a lot of money but very good quality and it's an investment piece. Nice click buckle at front and adjustable straps. Belt has to be worn in small of back (so bottles are at back). Bottles are easy to get out and put back even when runnng. Lovely rubbery lids that are easy to open and no leakage. Plan to wear this weekend on a 20 mile run and also later in year for marathon.
