Bright, brilliant, and beautiful
Bright, brilliant, and beautifulIf you want a one word answer to how this earphones sound.. it is "Honest".. thats the word. They sound absolutely honest.Fit:Before I go into the details. These earphones must be worn properly. If you don't wear them proper, then the sound quality won't be good, and you might also feel a bit uncomfortable, painful. So, watch videos and make sure you fit them properly. It took me a while to figure it out. I would suggest, you try pulling your earlobes mildly down / sideways to make sure the earphones rest properly inside your ears... The fit must be like how you will feel when you wear a fitting socks. Until reach that level of fitness, keep trying. The wires can be bent to suit your ear profile.. so keep twisting and trying till you get a nice fit.. once they sit properly, you won't even feel they're there.Sound quality:Coming to the sound, as I said earlier, they sound very proper and honest. Imagine this situation, one of your friends play a music instrument, you are physically sitting in that room and listening... How does the music sound without a speaker / amp? There won't be any extra bass right?, no artificial booms, just the music from the instrument with all its variations, and fun... That is exactly how these earphones reproduce sound. As real as it gets. No additional gimmicks plus amazing passive noise cancellation.Having said they sound real [musicians call it "bright"], there is also one more important thing to mention. If the artist recorded the song in a way that there is bass, there is added environment sounds, and tech gimmickry for example, these earphones will respond to that nicely. The output really depends on the audio source. Get a proper 3.5mm to USB C cable if you are listening in Mac or mobile phones. The mic is really good too. Your friends will notice voice clarity in your phone calls.BassBass sounds a bit different in this earphones. It won't be boom boom.. it will be more clearer, the sound will be similar to how a drum sounds in real life, if you are sitting near a drum, how it will sound.. thats all you will hear. No extra added artificial booms. if you are fan of those, you may not like these. But I still feel, the flavour is different.Eartips / sleeves:The black foam sleeves are quite aggressive. I mean, they provide very strong noise cancellation. Unless you are in a loud environment or amongst other musicians playing instruments etc, you might not need these I think. The grey silicon tips are good for normal use. Removing and fixing the silicon eartips need a bit of practice. The earphones are built strong, so don't worry that you might break them while twisting /removing the sleeves... They're sturdy unlike those flimsy wireless bluetooths with their fake "white noise based" sound isolation.. their batteries die after a couple of years and you end up spending more money... No.. these are for more years.Final note, they sound better with time.. I may be imagining this or I am not sure its the same for everyone.. I feel, they get better with time. The fit, the sound quality, and its unique sound reproduction grows with you as you explore more songs. Music is a lifelong journey after all.

A little expensive but totally worth it
I considered a lot of options b/w Shure, Sennheiser, Fiio and Final in this price range and got these. It takes a little while to get adjusted but once they are on they offer a firm hold and complete isolation. The dynamic driver really delivers, you can easily experience difference b/w a normal earphones and these.
